Ok so I actually had my reduction done about 8am this morning. I had read so many times that the pain wasn't that bad at all. Boy was I in for a rude awakening. I woke up from my surgery crying because of the pain I was in. Not only was it pain but burning also. They fnally got it under control. I find it hard and painful to use the bathroom and to get up by myself. Also having a hard time feeling nauseous, which stinks because before I can take my pain meds I have to eat something so I don't get sick. Well I'm hanging in there for the moment. Hoping to get some rest tonight, I have a post op appt tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for letting me vent a bit and please let me know if you have any tips:

Hey girlie, how are you feeling today?  Everyone reacts differently to pain and medications and I am sorry you had a rough first day.  Hang in there and know that it does improve over the first week.  Make sure you are eating toast or crackers about 20 minutes before medications.  This will help coat your tummy.

Thanks for the reply to my post. I'm feeling better than before, but not great by any means. I am currently 4 days post op. I still have pain and a lot of soreness in both breasts. I have more neck pain because I can only sleep sitting upright every night. I am still reading other reviews and I am so shocked at how well others are doing.

Try not to compare yourself to others, that will only frustrate you.  Do you have a neck pillow, that will really help.  Also try applying some heat to the neck and shoulders and that will relax the muscles.  I would say that the first week is the worst and you will notice improvement soon.  Are you sleeping in a recliner?   If so try moving to your bed with lots of pillows.  And then still use a neck pillow.

Hang in there, I am sending healing and happy thoughts your way.

Thanks again, definitely feeling better but still painful under my arm pits and very swollen. Got stitches removed today but I didn't want to look at my new breasts. I have noticed that my left nipple is inverted, you have any knowledge on that. The nurse said it should be fine once the swelling goes down. The doctor wasn't there or I would have asked him. She also told me that they look good, guess I'm just afraid of being disappointed.
