Breast Lift Needed After Losing Weight! The Woodlands, TX

ORIGINAL POST

I was struggled with my weight for the last 10...

WORTH IT$5,900
I was struggled with my weight for the last 10 years. It was like riding a roller coaster ride. Well for past couple of years I shredded it off and having been maintaining a steady weight for 2 years consistently. Before I lost weight I was wearing a 40DDD, after I'm in a 34D. I lost a lot of the tissue, so now I'm basically flat chested. Last month I started my search for a PS. A couple was trying to persuade me to also get implants. Implants is not what I want. After consultations with several PS and today I finally made my choice. Dr. Gill office was welcoming and the staff was nice, open, and professional. Dr. Gill listened to me, explained thoroughly, asked questions of what I was trying to achieve, he was up front and honest, professional, witty and so nice.

Welcome to the community and thanks so much for offering your opinion of your doctor.

It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience, like why you had the surgery, your tips for getting good results, pros/cons, and info on the recovery process.

As a community manager, I get requests all the time from other members who want me to to keep encouraging people to share their experiences, which are so helpful for others considering these procedures. So please accept this as a well-intentioned request from thousands.

I had my implants removed with a breast lift this last March using Dr. Gill. I am thrilled with the results! He is highly skilled and does fantastic work. I was also told by another doc that I would need a replacement implant but Dr. Gill LISTENED when I said I didn't want that. You've made a good choice!

Hi!, Yes that is what I like about Dr. Gill. He listened. The other Dr.'s was telling me i needed implants. A couple said I didn't, but I wasn't really connecting with either. But there was one I was going to go with and cancel Dr. Gill's appt. Then Melissa called the same day to remind me of the appt. I decided to go check him out. I am so glad I did.
Hoe is your recovery coming along? Have you stared your scar treatment? Thanks

Mammogram & Labs completed!!!!!

I am sooo excited it's a shame. If I could have it done now I would, lol. I know, I know good things come to those that wait! Yasssssssss.
Today I can say I accomplished quite a few "thongs to do". I had a mammogram, labs, and registered for the surgery. I meet with Dr. Gill on the 17th for my prescriptions, instructions, and details about what is he going to do.
I have been researching different surgical bras and scar treatments. I like to be prepared and have everything on hand when ever I need it.

Mammogram Ughhhhhhh!

I seem to keep hitting the back button and erasing my posts. So now I do not fell like writing everything over again, ughhhhhhhh! ***Sighs*** okay here goes, I received a call from Tops Beast center yesterday saying that they wanted to perform another mammogram bc of a focal area. And that someone would call me once they call and verify my insurance. I thinking like okay cool. So as I am at work I started to think about the call. If the mammogram was a big concern why not order an ultrasound. What will doing a new mammogram show, 'the same focal area'? I decided to call my patient coordinator and talk about my concerns. She basically said that the Dr has seen them already and wasn't concerned about the film, she has also started to see more of lately that they are requesting to do a second mammogram with other patients. I felt a little better after the talk. So tonight Tops called to inform me of my cost for the second mammogram, $107 with the 20% (I been met my deductible), I'm like wth is the actual cost of the mammogram if I have to pay $107. She said that they filed it up under diagnostic. No thank you cancel the appt. I can go to imaging center and pay $90 for one. Wth does the cost of yours cost. Ughhhhhh I don't know what to do. I emailed the patient coordinator about it and to see what was my options. Don't get me wrong I'm not tripping over the cost, bc if it is very much needed then I have no problem paying. Hell, I'm paying well over 6g's for the procedures and supplies. What my issue is having to get the procedure that very well likely show the same results and turn right around and say "Oh, now you need an ultra sound". If that's the case I should have the ultrasound done instead of another mammogram. Once again I'm all over the place.
