WORTH IT
Well let me begin by saying I was never a 36D like the doc told me I was. She left me at a 36G. Either my breast grew or she had no idea what a 36D looks like.

Do you still think it was worth it?

Well if it's of any worth, it looks like your surgeon did a great job as they look great, pert and full, you are looking very nice ;)

They say it takes up to 6 months to 1 year to fully settle to an actual size, its just going to be up and down sizes... I guess fluid retention+ breast tissues growing and healing.

@jpo818 & @mamilex I followed a BR story a few months back but can’t remember if it was here in the states or another country? Is this the norm for BR? I heard w/BR when your insurance covers it, they dictate to the PS how much skin they are to remove? I read this ladies review on here that it was based on how large you are and how much pain/stress they’re causing to get approval. Then once approved the insurance technically dictates how much to remove? Just wondering if that is possibly why the PS didn’t remove more skin? I think she could of gone a bit smaller too but sometimes you read that it’s not safe to do so for the patient or survival of the tissues etc. I also think it’s hard to promise a certain bra size bc bra sizes vary from different manufacturers so what might be a D in one maker could be a G in another? If it matters at all, I think they look really nice! Thanks for sharing your journey with us on RS! ❤️

Update on incision

User Avatar

I went to the Dr. to check on my incision and she said that it is NOT infected (YIPPY) BUT that I am doing too much so I need to take it slow and allow myself to heal. She has me on the wet/dry remedy which consist of soaking a piece of gauze with saline, applying that directly onto the wound then covering up the wet gauze with a dry peice and tapping it on my booby. Me next appt is 4/24. Let's see how that goes.............

Take the advice of the PS and everything will be fine. it is amazing how the puckering smooths out as the stitches dissolve. You have a lovely overall result, don't risk developing holes etc by doing too much.
