I had an upper bleph Jan 2014. Technically my surgery was well done and no scars. However, the surgeon and I didn't have the same idea of beauty. I got what he called "perfect almond shaped" eyes but I didn't look like "me". I wanted a correction not a fix. Every time I looked in the mirror, after I healed, I felt I looked sad and tired and he could not understand what I was unhappy with. I found Dr.Kotlus on Realself. During the consult I could tell he is as detail oriented as myself, well educated, and he was patient and kind and "heard" what my goals were. He suggested restylane to fill in the hollowness at the inside corners and to correct my one eye that had too much lid showing. Then, if I wanted, I can do fat transfer in about 1 year.
It's been almost 1 month and I'm So Happy!! I look like me again! I wasn't sure anyone could meet my "perfectionistic" expectations!!!
Definitely getting fat transfer next year but also considering another procudure with him during the summer. Have no doubt, go for it with Dr. Kotlus!
