The Tummy Tuck I Wished I Had Sooner...

I am 42 years old and had been thinking for way too long about getting a tummy tuck. I found after a couple of children and less than perfect abdominals to begin with I needed to tuck in my tummy to the granny underwear and felt horrible. I would try clothes on that fitted every where but around my waist... because I didn't have one.
I had initially thought I should lose some weight first and put of the procedure for a year whilst I did that... of course there is no time to lose weight and I got to the point where I thought if I waited to lose it, I would never get there.
I'm now five months post surgery, whilst initially it was intense, I am completely back into life at the same pace I started. I am seven kilo's lighter, however, I am close to two dress sizes smaller than I started. I feel so much better about myself and not wearing tight undergarments any longer to hold in the bulges.
Dr Hunt was great in telling me what to expect, he explained that my tummy would never be flat because I had fat behind the abdominal wall... cant say I recall a time when it was ever flat so I was totally fine with this. I now weigh just on 100kgs, so I'm not slim by any means and was never planning to be a super model. I fit comfortably into a 16 and am probably more active now as a result of the surgery than I was to begin with.

I thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking into this procedure, I wish I had done it sooner.
