Day 4 and doing pretty well. Only needed the pain meds the first 2 days after surgery. The last 2 days I only used them at night to sleep. Finally took the binder off today so I could get a good look and take pictures. I know its early and this is a long process so I am hoping that some of the things that I am seeing right now and do not like will change over the next couple weeks to months. I guess I need to stop comparing to everyone else. I see so many that have really good after pictures 1-2 days post-op so I guess I was expecting to see that for me also. Can I really be getting this critical on myself already? I should be happy that I dont have the before belly anymore! Please tell me I am not the only one who has critized their body this soon after surgery!?!? Happy healing girls!

Hi girls! Day 3 not much change. Still very sore and needing the pain pills about every 5 hours. TMI alert, the worst thing right now is the gas pain and bloating!! And i cant get it out! Been taking stool softeners and gasx but no relief yet. Will b trying MOM later to c if that will give me relief. I think I'm just nervous about popping something from trying to bear down. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Take care all :)

Well its day 2, very uncomfortable. I was really hoping to not have to take the pain meds but soon found out if i dont stick to a 4 hour schedule the pain is too intense. I still only get up just to go to the bathroom, otherwise im in the recliner. Getting up and walking around just for the sake of walking doesnt feel good and tires me out. Is that normal? I have not seen my belly yet. Will see it tonight as I am suppose to take it off and clean the belly button incision. My PS said no shower for 10-12 days! :( I feel so gross already and its only been 2 days. Gonna rest now. Happy healing to all!
