Just jumping in here...sorry. Being 7 months out! I'm curious when your worst swelling phase was? And when you noticed it was not a daily thing anymore? I love hearing from people so far ahead in healing :). It's so encouraging!

Thanks, I am glad I kept this pretty much to myself. I didn't want to go through all the "but you look fine" or "your tiny already". Most people I know don't really even know what a tummy tuck is and think it's a weight loss solution. Plus they don't see me naked. Lol I also know I will not look back because this is the best thing I could have done for myself

To be honest, my swelling was ok until at 6 weeks plus 1 got a really bad cough that lasted 6 weeks, I had to go back into my compression garment 24/7 for four weeks and spent 3 weeks in bed. Then it took me till 6 months to feel the effects of that had worn off. People also often go through a very ' critical of our body' stage after surgery and flit between being happy and being fed up, it's all normal :) and passes. I am still waiting for my scar to turn white, but that may be 12 months plus. I can do pretty much everything now , probably pole fitness is my most extreme exercise . I could go back to most other things by 8 weeks had I not got I'll, but there is all the time in the world to enjoy a nice flat tummy so don't rush anything and just enjoy !

Oh, my goodness! You look so beautiful! What a huge transformation from your before pics. You are about one week ahead of me in your healing journey :). Although...I only had three kids, so i had less stretching to repair. Your healing sounds like it has gone very well so far. I am also in that swell hell phase (my morning pictures can be very deceiving ;). Are you still wearing any compression type garment anymore? I am now sleeping with just a T shirt and it feels lovely! And just a Spanx type thingy by day. I'm debating weaning off of that though. I feel more numb with it on. I prefer to "feel" the fabric of my clothing on my skin. Feels more like part of me. Yea know? Anyhow...glad infound your review! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much! Last night was the first night I slept without and kind of garment. It was actually nice. I still do during the day to try and keep my swelling under control but I've been taking breaks from it throughout the day. Hopefully soon I will be more brave to not wear it. Lol. I have been following your journey too and you look amazing also! It's definitely something that I am glad that I had done.

OK so I am a little over 4 weeks post op and people are not lying when they say you go on an emotional roller coaster after!
Last week and this week have been very up and down. I've been doing more activity and at the end of the day I am swollen. It get tight and sore and the discouragement sets in. I keep telling myself though that this is temporary, things will get better. Most days I am so excited with my results so far and other days I am just ok with it. I know that sound ridiculous and I look at before pics to help but some days when the swelling is bad I feel fat. Fat? Hmm... That sounds harsh when I actually write it down. I know in reality I am not but swell hell is not my friend. Lol.
Just had to do a little venting. I do have to say I love my new belly and wish I could show it off to everyone! There are only a select few who know I have had it done so this summer I think people are gonna be shocked to see me in a bikini. I don't even care, lol. I don't even mind the stretch marks that I have left because they used to be so much worse! I mean I did have 6 pregnancies and the stretch marks aren't what bothered me. Maybe when I was younger but what really got to me was that extra skin and sagging and muscle separation. Now that is all fixed and I am grateful. I think my surgeon did an excellent job!
I'll try to get in some more updates instead of the long gaps. :-)
