Yesterday I met for a consult with a surgeon, he says he prefers to go over the muscle with a silicone implant, the cost was a little shocking at 8,100 dollars. I feel this is a few thousand over what expected to pay. I am scheduled for another consultation the end of March two weeks before my surgery on April 8.

Hello. I have surgery on April 8th as well!! actually it's funny because I am paying the exact same price as you too, which was a little more then I had expected.

On feb 10th I went and meet with a different dr, DR. Rucker in eau Claire wi, he has done thousands of breast implants compared to the other dr I had a consult with had only done hundreds, he also is going under the muscle instead of over witch I prefer, and then best part is the price, 6400 compared to 8200. This is because he has his own onsite surgical suite, I am leaning towards 425 sientra smooth round implants

I am glad you found a different doctor. If you are an A cup, over the muscle may not be too flattering once they settle. Good luck surgery sister!

Thank you!! Good luck to you as well!! I agree they probably wouldn't look that great / natural if I went over the muscle although the recovery would have been smoother, better for a few days longer with pain than a lifetime longer with regrets though I guess :)

good on you for researaching your options, it's so important you trust your PS!!
i am day 5 post operation and ended up having bigger implants placed during surgery, this wasn't a problem for me becuase I trusted in my PS to provide the best outcome based on my desired results.
Good for you researching your options and there is never too many questions you can ask!

Thank you so much!! Yes they are going to be high profile! I'm thinking anything will look better than what I currently have, just going to go through pics today and save them on my phone so he gets a clear image of my desired look!!
