Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Update-December 18 surgery was December 14.

All went pretty well. I had an in office procedure and it went just about like every other review using that format. Arrive, pills, sleep, procedure, come to, go home, sleep. It was surprising. Dr. Rotatori and his staff are great! My drain came out on the 16th. On the 20th I go to get a few stitches out. I am a bit swollen just like mentioned in all other reviews. I am a bit more colorful today. Greenish yellow on my left side. I have been sleeping in a lawn chair which is not too horrible. Right now I am very pleased. I'd post photos if I could. This site needs some work to make it easier to do so. Trouble spots for me are: I can't figure out what I want to eat. I premade a number of things, but I don't want them now. Be sure to cut up food into small pieces because you can't really chew with your muscles. Brushing your teeth is a pain also. Last night I was able to floss and use my sonic toothbrush. Get some cheap wash cloths that you can soak in water and put into the freezer. They mold real well to the curves of your face and feel real nice. I love them at the base of my neck in the front and back. All for now and everything should be up from here!

Today is September 24, 2017. I am starting a review for a future limited incision neck lift which will be done on December 14, 2017.
I am a woman and am 63 years old. I am not doing HRT so am aging naturally. What is under my chin can register for it's own zip code so it has got to go. My procedure should take care of that along with some jowls that have also shown up on either side of my mouth. I will get adding photos this afternoon when all my natural morning swelling has gone away.
I have wanted something done for a while and what made me decide to spend the money on me was my Dad. He is 94 and about 6 years ago he had a neck procedure done and was so happy with his results. His procedure was not what I am having. Earlier this year I asked him who is doctor was since I wanted something done. His doctor has retired but my Dad told me to get the procedure done only if I wanted it not to listen to anyone else. So he has approved of my decision.
I used RealSelf to find a plastic surgeon in my area who has high reviews, board certified etc. What a wonderful tool! So many reviews that really show you what procedures look like and the recovery afterwards. I made my choice of doctors and am very pleased . When I had my consultation he was very professional and did lots of looking and making notes before he told me his recommendation of procedure. It was very strange to have someone look at my face so intently and closely. I have always been uncomfortable with people looking at me LOL. I had to concentrate and look directly at him so he could see straight on and from side to side.
I decided to have the limited incision neck lift and scheduled my appointment since I want to have it done during my winter break from work. I will have a total of 23 days to recuperate. I hope that is enough!
Since that time I had some botox injections in the 11s between my eyebrows. This has soften the lines by about half. I like it and am surprised that I still have the ability to move the muscles. I didn't have a frozen area like I thought I would. Anyway that is another subject.
I will post more as the time gets closer. 12 weeks to go
