Day 2 after the all too good feeling shower.

Losing a ton of weight and always working out...

Losing a ton of weight and always working out everyday leaves me bummed when I look in the mirror and see deflated breasts and flabby skin on my stomach. Eventually I plan to also get a tummy tuck but the boobs is all I could afford right now both monetarily and the consideration of down time. The BA was done on a Wednesday 5/11/16 and I'll be back to work by Tuesday 5/17/16. The fewer days off, the better. The TT will have me down and out for a minimum of 2 weeks, and cost quite a bit more.

Back to my BA. I got 375cc saline implants filled to 450cc.

I like the size, thus far. My armpits are very sore. I'm not happy that my nipples are still pointing down, I wish the doctor would have addressed that better with me. I guess it's my fault for not asserting myself in regards to my desired outcome with the Doctor. I don't know if it could be addressed at another time perhaps?

I went to the Bougeanvilla Clinic in Winter Park, FL. Dr Jeffrey Hartog is the surgeon there. The front office staff are very kind. The first nurse I met for the pre-op appointment two weeks prior to the procedure was kind, thorough and helpful. On the actual procedure day, the clinic was locked when we arrived at 6:45am which is the exact time we were told to be there. I started calling the clinic and then noticed a light on inside. I went back to try the doors and then found they were now unlocked. We walked in and I called out, "hello?" A voice from beyond told us to have a seat. The surgical nurse came out and brought us into a room. The nurse was not very kind. She was abrupt and rude. She was wearing a horrible smelling perfume which I feel is unprofessional. I signed a slew of paperwork and then the doctor came in to take pictures and draw on me. He was seemingly rushed and it put me a little at ease. I think he sensed this and made sure to stop and make eye contact with me and to say we will take good care of you. The anesthetic nurse was extremely kind and compassionate. She did a fabulous job of explaining everything and ensuring I was comfortable. I don't recall much after the mask went over my face.

In the recovery I was in a great deal of pain. The recovery nurse gave me a shot of pain meds into my IV and I fell back asleep. I felt like she was rushing me out of there but it's a good thing because it was freezing in there! I was shivering and shaking. The nurse said it was due to the anesthesia but as soon as I got out into the warm Florida weather, all of my shivering stopped! I know my body.

My sis got me home and I took a pain killer. My arms were both numb and both of my armpits ache but the right one is worse. Day 2 and my right armpit is still throbbing and aching. My skin feels stretched and tight across my chest. This feels strange but bearable. It's the ache in my right arm pit that really bothers me now.

I took off the bra this morning and showed myself and my boyfriend my new breasts. He said he got erect, lol. That made me smile. The gauze they placed onto the sutures just inside the bra had little or no blood at all. I haven't had a drink in more than four months and I'm certain that has a correlation to my lack of bleeding out. Which is a great thing. I'll heal a lot quicker without alcohol in my system.

I keep doing the stretches and place my arms over my head to relieve the tightness in my arms and chest. A little bit of icing with an ice pack has helped also. Time for a nap. The drugs are kicking in, lol. I'll check in tomorrow with an update.
