HOLY COW...what did I just do???
Just signed up to my first 1/2 marathon, the Disney Princess in February! Here's the kicker....I HATE HATE running!!! On a better note I am officially 12 weeks post op!

I am doing that run too...I have done the 5k there - it's a beautiful run...even at 5 in the morning!!!

Awesome! Right now doing interval training to get used to the pounding on my knees....
I'm so proud of you and congratulations on signing up for that half marathon! Most importantly have fun! You only get one first half marathon! I can't wait to get back into running again. I'm 5 weeks post op and have been walking on treadmill and elliptical. I know I'm not ready to run yet so I'm being patient! Good luck with your training! Keep up the good work! :-)

12 Weeks on Monday!
I had my last massage and a post-op appt. with my PS. He said everything looks good and I have no restrictions as far as physical activity is concerned. So I have decided to run my first half marathon! I will be running Feb 21st 2014 in the Disney Princess Half. I must be CRAZY! I have started training slowly.
