30 yr old genetic double chin

I would do this again in a heartbeat. So worth it. Granted I didn't have a huge amount of submental fat to begin with...but 2 days later and I already have a straight and defined chin and jaw. No more pocket under my chin.
I had no drainage and not a lot of discomfort. Its already starting to itch (heal)

My apologies but I don't see anywhere that says specifically what you had done. Was it lipo and also a laser for tightening ...what kind of laser...or was it a neck lift ?
The results are amazing!!

It was submental Lipo...no laser and no tightening. I didn't have any lose skin from weight loss...it was just a genetic pocket under my chin that I wanted gone

Does the numbness affect your vocal chords at all? I mean, I know not internally but when you speak (or sing) does it have ANY affect? Or is it all superficial?
August 7, 2017
Nope...some tingling when you are in the heat or are working out...other than that its fine

Did u get a hard lump after
September 21, 2017
I had hard lumps for a while during the healing process...it takes a while for the swelling to go down, and if you do...do lympathic drainage massages two times a day. There are YouTube videos you can learn from.

You look fantastic, im getting this done in December. Were you visibly bruised and did it hurt to eat or swollow? What would you say about your early recovery days and the pain during the procedure? Any scars?
Your before picture is about what my chin currently looks like. I hope the results are as nice as yours.

There was visible bruising for a couple weeks, the pain was zero...didn't take any pain medicine at all. Make sure you keep the chin wrap on for as long as they say! There was no difficulty with swallowing or eating either.
There is a scar under my chin about the size of 1/4 inch...if that. It is hard where the scar tissue formed but isn't red. You can't see it unless you point it out and tilt your chin up. Sometimes my muscles under my chin by my neck get tight. I have to stretch is sometimes. Otherwise, I love it!!

Did you get the visible scar under your chin? How's it healing up? Do people notice?
October 18, 2017
I did get a visible scar under the chin, but its only 1/4 inch long and flesh colored. You can't see it. Its completely healed

Wish I'd had this done when I was younger (I'm 52) my PS said lipo wouldn't work because then I'd have excess skin... so mini facelift ... but just getting over a TT so maybe later ... you look amazing - good for you!
