Update!

Sorry it's been a while. I've had a lot going on. Of course when you go out of work every thing goes wrong! I went in last Thursday and Dr Tucker remove my drains, One of them I didn't feel the other one felt like he was ripping a hot fire poker out of my body. Fluid continued to drain out onto the gods pads a plan doesn't matter she can go in the house it won't be a problem but then the l drain out onto the gauze they put in front for the next I'd say about 24 hours. Moving around was a lot easier after the drains were removed. I'm going to add some pictures of what the swelling looks like above my pubic bone the next day. It's about three days and then the swelling was gone out of my pubic area. I continued to wear a black spanks bodysuit and the white circular binder that the hospital gave me. The swelling continue down into my legs pretty severely. My ankles look like I was pregnant. I was crying because I look so huge. My fiancé hated to see me so upset and so she did some research. She found out some surgeon say that the white circular binder that just goes around your waist can actually cause the fluid to just stay in your legs cause it has nowhere to go. So I stopped wearing the circular binder and just wore the black spanks bodysuit that my surgeon said I could wear. This did help with the swelling some but I was still pretty swollen. So I scheduled a lymphatic massage where they use a machine that has glass cups that very gently use the suction to move fluid from different parts of your body to lymphatic dumpsites. Such is under your xiphoid process, in between your clavicle bones, and that you're formal artery. I have this done on Wednesday. And I felt immediate relief from some of the tight tension you feel from all the fluid. When I woke up this morning there was even more swelling down and I could move around so much easier I have rescheduled another appointment for next Thursday. And today I had my second check up with Dr Tucker. He was very happy with my healing and everything looked really good, he couldn't believe how much swelling I had down a little bruising I had and how good I looked and how I was feeling. I attribute this to Vita medical vitamins and the lymphatic massage. And also an awesome surgeon. Since I've been so happy with my tummy tuck we discussed the next two surgeries I want to have done. I want a break lift/reduction done at the end of August. He took measurements and photos we're going to try to get my insurance to help pay for it. He said he's going to remove about a pound for each breast. And then the very end of September I already have it scheduled!!!! I'm going to have a medial thigh lift! No matter how much weight I lose I always have this extra skin and fat deposits just between my legs. The rest of my legs are very toned lean and small except for just this area right at my crotch. I am hopeful after these next two surgeries and I complete my mommy makeover that I will love my body again the way I did as a teenager!

Pics today before my 1st shower!

Day 4, the best yet

I hadn't really been up for posting anything until today. Saturday I was so sore that I was wondering what I've gotten myself into. Luckily Abby showed me some pictures that was the encouragement I needed to know that I made the right choice. The pain is only temporary and I will have a flat stomach for the rest of my life!
Vitamedica is so important it's expensive but so very worth it. I normally bruise and swell terribly and I have really been surprised that it's been minimal compared to other surgeries. I'm so thankful that Dr. Tucker recommended these and that I have been taking them.
I was able to have a bowel movement yesterday the only bad thing with that was that it takes me about 15 minutes to get up and get to the bathroom. The most painful thing I've been through so far is a bout of hiccups. I am not kidding I thought I was going to die!!!
I haven't had very much of an appetite so I've been trying to drink water and then Gatorade switching back-and-forth and doing Jell-O and yogurt to make sure that I can take my medication. I have been sleeping in a recliner in my bedroom because the bed is not even a remote possibility.

Dr. Tucker staff is wonderful! I have been very happy with my service so far and Dr. Tucker came with the highest recommendations from other physicians and those that work with him in the operating room. He is very knowledgeable and confident which I like in a surgeon.
