I lost 157 lbs and was left with a common problem...Unsightly hanging skin! So last Dec I had fleur de lis tummy tuck ..insursnce covered it! Then March breast lift..insurance covered it. Now..in Oct im having thigh lift. Approval pending. I consult, step by step..to help those with medical necessity to get insurance approvals. Let me know if i csn help. .Updates to come.

How was it able to qualify as medically necessary? Wonder if Medicare covers ever? I am post gastric bypass 2002 and this has always been the missing piece

I am just wondering how your insurance covered this, I have lost almost 50 lbs and have the same problem with my breasts. The extra skin on my thighs, and else where it doesn't bother me...but on my breast it really does...was there a 'minimum' you had to loose for insurance to pay?
