5 yrs!

Ok what?!? 5 yrs have passed and I'm still loving my belly! Happily remarried and confident ????????????????

dog ears...done and done!

Ok, its been awhile since posting anything...i'm nearly a year past my surgery and still in love with my results. I still have stretch marks on my belly...testament to the children I have bore, but no more jiggle and i'm pleased as punch! I did indeed have some dog ears, not bad, but enough to bother me, and my doctor was super cool in that way. So I went the other day and got them snipped off *_* I will tell you that it was likely one of the most traumatic things I've done *gulp* The needles to freeze were painful, and I've been through many different types of pains, so this whole thing was a different type of experience. I would say, that on the second side ( more painful/sensitive side) that I definitely decided that if I wasn't happy with the results, oh well. I would NOT go back for revision - unless I was under fully. There is something completely wrong with being awake and smelling the singe of your own flesh and the tugging, the blood dripping down your back...ya...I typically am pretty cool with weird stuff, but that was too much. The left side was worse. It bled more afterwards also. I am pretty bruised up on that side too. I don't know...it looks like it might be 'bunchy', but I know that it still has stitches and that it needs time to be less swollen. In general, I am going to be happy. I didn't want to be wandering around in a bikini (never been comfy in one) and I feel amazing in my clothes. No harm, no foul. I've been very fortunate to not have any real issues concerning my healing process...no point pushing my luck. I will post pics when I take the bandaging off, but I most definitely am dealing with a little pain, bruising, etc.

Almost 5 months?!

Things are goodly. Tightness when I stretch.., little pain Behind the bb when I exert myself too much... Time to start getting to the gym I think tho ;) little tan too maybe! All in all I'm happy. I will likely deal with my dog ears this summer and post how that goes.

I have no complaints concerning my doctor. She is a sweet, kind woman...I felt comfortable with her from the get go. I am only 2 1/2 weeks into my healing process and things are going well. The only real issue is location, which isn't her fault at all. Its winter too...which has affected my follow-up attempts. I am thankful that things have gone well with me, b/c its an issue with the type of winter we are having to get in and see her. Tummy tucks are not her speciality, but I felt that she is attentive and confident. I'm pleased. Price was fantastic and since I'm having no problems, I give her 2 enthusiastic thumbs up!!!
