I am 7 days Post op!!!

$4,999
Haven't been able to post earlier its just been a bit of a struggle to say the least! I will put all my pics from the pre op on here later today and all the details though they may be too much information so be warned! I am currently resting in my recliner chair which has helped a great deal and there is no way I could have done it without it, luckily I borrowed mine but you should enquire about getting one in ready for a tummy tuck. I must say it has been very very very hard and I hope its gonna be worth it, though looking at my belly already the improvement is nothing but a miracle so I am over the moon. Very swollen, painful but manageable today and still cannot stand straight.
Will post the procedure and after details later today xxxxx

8 days lol!
Hope you're doing much better by now. Tummy tucks, I've seen a lot of women on here with wonderful results, but it does look very sensitive. I had liposuction last Feb. on my abs, saddle bags, & flanks. I was pretty sore with the abs for over a week, but the killer was the saddlebags, my PS also did the backs of my thighs. I was pretty bruised!! I got through it though fine, they were very tender so I had to mostly stay up in my bed with my head and my knees propped up with pillows. It made it much easier to get out of bed, being propped up so high. Not the most comfortable way to sleep, but it worked out. I drank a lot of water to flush out every thing, so I was up a lot going to the bathroom. Sitting up straight like on a couch or chair was a challenge. But my husband was very helpful those 2 weeks. The swelling was not fun, but it only lasts for 3 mo. then it's over. I will most likely have to have a reversion on my abs, because most plastic surgeons will limit the amount of fat they take out, it's just not wise. Since I had the outer thighs done, and he ended up doing the backs of my upper thighs while he was there, then the flanks and abs were last. So he thinks he'd like to do the abs again on him...so that's good. If that's the case I will probably have him do my bra line on the sides. They have bothered me since I turned 54 yrs. old. Not looking forward to being put out again, but I'm a pretty healthy 61 yr. old. So I wish you luck on your journey and hope you're coming along well. You made a good decision to do this, I'm sure you're younger than myself. I never thought I would ever do Lipo, but it really is not that horrible, thank goodness they put us out. I will look for your updates, this sight is always a good read. I won't be doing my next Lipo until the cooler weather comes, October!!!! Too much to do in the summer. Take care Allison Southampton!!!!
How you doing?
Well done!!! Hang in there. I love this web site as it gives you confidence you can make it through. I'm in the UK too, my TT 30th Sept. I am dreading the first week but you've already got through it...so that is amazing!!!!! You now have a flat tummy!!!!(yes, swollen) but FLAT!!!! That's AWESOME!

Hi Alison, please post updated photos and let us know how you're getting on. I'm going for a TT revision with Lipo and am nervous that my PS will rush the procedure. Do u know how long your PS took on your Lipo? Mine says he only needs 30 mins!!!

Good luck!
Break a leg tomorrow :)
The pain is not that bad, you will be fine, just don't do anything for two weeks at least to recover, just think you are going to be happier and more confident for the rest of your life x x

Had my pre-op assessment today. It feels very real now and I am terrified about the pain I will have and when I will be mobile again to help with my two boys. I also paid today so that has made it real and a worry as to how much it all costs! Staff are lovely and cannot do enough which is great.
Any support would be great! sooo nervous
Hi :) Obviously we are all different as are our pain thresh holds etc. It is perfectly natural to be nervous beforehand but I am sure afterwards you will look back and wonder why you were so worried;) I found pain to be almost non existent, a slight burning sensation when I first came around from anaesthetic (drugs soon knocked that on the head :) ) other than that it was uncomfortable rather than painful. The only other time there was 'pain' was the day after when I coughed, that did take me by surprise but quickly learnt that if I pushed my fist hard to the area (around bb) the pain was greatly reduced. Apart from that I got out of bed a couple of hours after the op and the next morning I was up and walking around albeit slowly :) The swelling isn't great but it isn't too bad either. I did have a minor set back with my bb which closed over but a minor revision sorted that out. I didn't have lipo and tbh I think that is a huge contributing factor to pain, I just have to see ladies bruises and I feel it lol. Returning to work four weeks after, my best guess is that you will be particularly swollen at the end of each day and probably for several weeks, if not months but it is doable. Seriously it isn't that bad, you will be fine and should love your result!! xx
Hello,

Thank you for your lovely reply, it made me feel better reading it, thank you! Yes I am concerned that I have added thigh liposuction to the procedure as the swelling will be a lot worse eek! I did think that going back after four weeks I will probably be dying to get home with the swell hell at the end of the work day, and my job is very physical and I never really sit down so that is going to be a challenge. All of that scares me but its the only time I can fit it in during the school hols and its now or never for me!! Thank you again for your reply x
