I had a Plexr treatment one month ago in the UK by a medical professional and thought I should follow up my treatment with a review. Although Plexr may treat the upper lid without too much damage, the lower lid area is far too weak. I am now left with a tear under my left eye, that will scar. I have been given scar cream by the clinic that treated me but this will never undo the damage. I am now trying to deal with this damage myself. I have always been so mindful of my skin since I can remember, using sunscreen and excellent products for many, many years. The stress is has caused it immeasurable because I really can't believe that I paid to have scar damage under my eye!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Hoping you find support in the community.

The Plexr is available in three different power versions. In the lower lid an I use the white one with overall good results in thius delicate region. But with this visible damage you should have a PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatment which will improve the damage mostly back to normal. Best wishes!
Excellent! I will be booking a PRP treatment to help improve the damage - thank you, Roland.
What volt output is the plexr that you use for both upper and lower eye?
Hi Michelle - if you are considering Plexr, please be aware that your lids will remain extremely pink for many months post treatment. I had my lids done in November and they are still pink, and it is now four months after the one treatment. I would say that Plexr does not reduce excess skin, it changes the texture of that skin. There is a lot of swelling too. Hope this is helpful.
Did yours resolve? I’m 3 weeks in and can see every indentation and all are still red although fading to a jorrible Brown. Worried it’s not going to go away!
Dear Angie - the brown will fade. My eye lids were pink for many months post treatment. Please keep me posted.
Very worried. My treator has virtually cut me off and hasn’t agreed to see me post treatment. She says from the photos I’ve sent that the skin is still healing and it can’t be hyperpigmentation but most of the treated areas are brown with just a few tender patches. Everyone else I’ve contacted says it needs treating but I feel it’s too tender and even mild topicals worsen the discolouration. Everything I use on it irritates the skin but it looks so bad I have to cover it with makeup. Any advice or reassurance welcome- I’m so low.
I'm the safest eighteen months plus....caused significant damage to one eye...my treater too withdrew all support saying I signed a consent form. So do damaging a treatment.
Should say that I am the same, not the safest
I hope things have improved since your post, although healing is a slow process. Are you able to post a photo - so hopefully someone within the Realself community will be able to advise on your skin's condition.
Some improvement over one eye. Over the other it looks like a permanent tattoo of brown but I think is fading slowly. Under the eyes bothers me a lot as I can’t see any progress yet. I know under the eyes takes the longest to heal but I’m now 10 weeks in!
I'm in excatly the same boat I'm 8 weeks in its actually made the lines deeper and made dark like shadows under my eye which I never had before I'm so upset
I had the same and now have to see a specialist about nerve damage.
Thanks for sharing I wish I had found it earlier ... I have a very bad experience with Plexr too and wrote a review - in my opinion it's totally not worth it and causes too much damage with minimal ( if any!!) results
I had the same. Burned my lower eyelid and inflammation ongoing and hyperpigmentation for almost a year.
I’m in the same position. 6 weeks in and the soreness and hyperpigmentation really difficult to deal with. Any advice after your journey and where are you today. Happy to send you photos to see if it looks familiar.
