I have almost 14 yr old twins & a 16 yr old son my belly was streatched to its limits when it measured 62 1/2 inches the day before my c-section to birth 6lb 13oz & 7lb 2oz healthy beautiful babies...my son weighed in at 9 1/2 lbs (c-sec also) my body couldn't bounce back even after losing wight. Here I am 7 days PO & could cry looking at my day before pics. If you can afford this procedure, have adequate help available for at LEASTa week after & your tired of your xtra skin~this surgery is a no brainer

from your nickname...Are you an Xray tech? If so..how long do you plan to be off? I am an xray tech too wondering if I go back to doing mammos and bone density could two weeks be realistic? Your tummy looks amazing too!!!

I am an X-ray tech. Per my PS, 4-6 weeks is more what you're looking at. Especially with all the lifting & such. I'm PO day 10 & feel pretty good today, even with still having my drains in. I could not imagine going back to woork in 4 days though. You might want to consider being off longer. I also had muscle repair. I was separated 3 inches & have internal stitches there & approx 100 on my lower incision which is covered with a layer of dermabond. Every PS is different. Good luck & for me, it was def worth it.

Im just going to be 5 weeks PO on Thursday. Love, love love my belly. Don't get me wrong, some days I swell & get tired still, but your body will letcha know what you can and can't do. I'm going topmost my before and after pic on my same undies I wore the day before my surgery. Its pretty amazing. Best of luck. My before pics make me sad & my mom sees them & she cries for me. You will be fine. Just rest, rest & more rest. It is all worth it. Even the drains ( put up with them for as long as you have to...they're there for a reason, and without them, the fluid stays in you). They'll eventually be gone. Here's to you finding yourself again
