ScarAway
Started using ScarAway yesterday. I wish I had used this on my csection scar, guess it's not to late. Has anyone had good results on a year old scar? I cut them in half and they are perfect size to fit over the scars. Will post updated scar photos on a month. I have olive skin and my scars start out a medium brown, so bare this in mind :)
1 month
Feeling good at one month. Still really anxious for them to truely heal. My right breast is not as round as my left and my left is a little lower. I'm assuming most of this is normal. I use my right side more. I finally took of my steri strips myself, they felt like they were trying to become perminatly fused to my body. Luckily I had some left over adhesive remover from my c-sections. I also started running again, waited until 3 weeks, and it's going well. My boobs look a little "cone boob" from the side, I'm hoping as they fall and fluff that will go away and my nipple will raise more. They look very even from above. Am curious what bra size I will be now. I measure 30 around my rib age and 38" around my bust. I think I might end up being a 32DDD, which is an odd size. I might be having to get swim tops altered. I stay at home with my kids so most of the time I'm in sport bra anyways. It funny some of my old sports bras that had gotten too big now fit great. My scars are healing well. I have olive skin so when I scar it starts out brown and lightens over a year or so. I'm feeling more and more comfortable in clothing. I think at first I was freaked out bc of the swelling around my armpit. I will update next month :).
Two week post op
Everything is healing really well. I had felt fatigue last week and this week it's much better. Although it's not always a bad thing because really my recovery has been great and sometimes I have to remind myself I did had surgery and should be taking it easy. My new boobs do feel weird though, a little foreign. When I get cold it's like my whole boob is cold, that might be what some have described as a burning. The skin on the front is my armpit is very tender and sensitive. That is also getting better though. Wearing a seatbelt is a little uncomfortable. I still fit in most of my sports bras, except for bralettes. Probably the best part is how different my body looks in clothing and filling things out so much better. It makes me feel like I was completely flat before, I'd just gotten used to it. Last week for a few days I felt like I had gone too big, but as the swelling has gone down and I'm becoming more used to them I think I choose the perfect size for me.
