5'5" 140 Pds, Mom of 2, Thinking I Want 300-350 Range - Wichita, KS

Well, I have decided that i want to get breast implants. Most of my life I have liked my breasts, but after I had my son and was done breast feeding, it took about 6 months till they looked good again. I had my daughter a few years later and now they just look kinda sad from the side. I brought it up to my husband I he really could care less as long as I'm happy. My biggest fear is looking really fake, I want them to be as natural as possible, I don't want to go very large. I'm an active person and I need breasts that aren't going to get in the way.

I have made appointments to go see 2 different doctors on February the 8th. All i can think about is boobs now, its literally fogging my brain! I'm hoping that going to these two doctors, one of them will make me feel sure about a size and type of breast implant. We are going on a vacation in May and I hope to get them before and be fully recovered by then. I've been looking all over the internet and on this site for guidance.

So far I've decided I want the insicion site at the nipple, I made sure both doctors I found did that quiet often. Also, I want it under the muscle, seams like thats what most do and lessens capsular contraction. I'm very undecided on either on the gel or saline implants. I like that the saline are safer and I have piece of mind that if they did rupture, i would know.

I really want a natural look, not a lot of upper pole fullness, I'm thinking a moderate or moderate plus would be best. I will report back after I've met with the two doctors and see which one I've decided on.

Went to meet my doctor, everything went great. I was really looking for some peace of mind and someone to give me a definitive answer as to what type of implant I should get to achieve the natural look I'm going for.

He suggested 315cc Mentor Memoryshape medium height, moderate profile silicone implants. They are textured and form stable (highly cohesive). Going in I thought I would steer away for the formed implants, but he convinced me that they would be the most natural and give me the best look. Unfortunately with this type of implant, he doesn't want to go through the nipple, but instead the breast fold. When he told me he would 't do it one his own wife with this type of implant I was swayed. My nipple is to small and he said I would heal better going through the fold, less disruption in the breast.

I feel very comfortable with the size. I was thinking between 300-350 in my head and he said the 315 memoryshape would look more like a 340. My biggest fear is looking unnatural and being too large. My exact word were sport illustrated, obviously those girls are much smaller than me, but except for a few that are extremely busty they all look very natural but attractive. (Well attractive is an understatement)

I booked my surgery for Feburary 24th! Literally a few weeks away, got my blood tests today. Really excited, a little nervous, but mostly at easy because most of my desicions are made. Little bit of a bummer because we are headed to the mountains to ski with friends ans I'm going to have to hold back on the drinking bc it will be at the beginning of the two weeks prior to surgery. Well worth it in the end fingers crossed.

Well went to meet the doctor today, everything went really smooth. We talked about the difference between moderate profile and moderate plus. If i decide to go to a mod plus it would increase the cc's from 315 to 375. The projection would increase about a cm. I think I'm going to stick with the moderate, 375 sounds large to me. I know that's only 50 cc's, but I really do want a natural look with out fullness at the top. I don't think I'd be unhappy, but instead self conscious. This is difficult when most people on here it seams wish they had gone bigger. I guess I'll have to think on this more. Surgery is scheduled in two weeks. Pickup my meds today which included an anti nausea topical cream, anti bacterial wash and two pills I take the morning of surgery. I'm probably anxious if anything else. I'm going to try to keep really busy the next two weeks so time will fly by.
