I bought some Latisse from my PS, followed instructions to the letter. I know it comes packaged differently; I had a tube of liquid and a whole box of individually wrapped applicators. I practiced a sceptic techniques, never touching the tube to the applicators, and always disposing once used, never reusing, etc etc.

My experience was this: my lashes grew. Yes they grew, but they grew in corkscrews so my lashes looked knotted. Further, it seemed as though the root was attached to a ball bearing. I don't know if I can adequately describe this, but as I applied mascara, my lashes would rotate and even revolve in the socket, so I was constantly fighting to maintain a smooth upward curve. But they didn't fall out! So bizarre!!! I began daydreaming about ripping them all out and letting them grow back in fresh. More importantly, I developed a twitch, or a muscle spasm, in my upper and lower eyelids that would occur randomly throughout the day. When that began, i said "I'm out" and threw the stuff away. Not a good experience for me. Hope this helps someone.

FYI- I use Rapid Lash. You can buy it on Amazon.com, or Costco. Much cheaper than Latisse, and works great for me, even for my light and sparse eyebrows (I have never plucked them, there has never been much there). I apply about 5 nights per week. Jane (adam1995).

does it contain the same ingredients as latisse? ill give it a try, i could use some more eyebrows too. is the price comparable?

I have no idea if the ingredients are the same, but I am sure it would be easy to research. Rapid Lash is about $30 per tube, and every once in while, Costco will sell sets of 2 for less than that, per tube. I am not sure of the exact price. I get mine from amazon most of the time. Good luck !!!

The ingredients aren't the same, but I agree that Rapid Lash works also. I've used both and I'm switching back to Rapid Lash. I'm quitting the Latisse because I've just discovered that it was causing deepening of the eyelid sulcus, so in addition to darkening the eyelids my eyes were looking more deep-set, it was starting to give me a bit of a zombie appearance which is not worth the longer eyelashes IMO!

for eyebrows ( mine are naturally thin and blonde) I bought minoxidil for women and apply one a drop on each eyebrow before bed. it has worked wonders in a matter of weeks. prior to that, i had used castor oil, brow enhancing serum, and latisse for eyebrows before but did not see any improvement. plus, a one month supply lasts forever, and it only costs about $20.

Thanks Koje67. I will give Minoxidil a try one of these days. I just received a new shipment of Rapid Lash yesterday, so I might wait until I use it up.

Hello
I've tried latisse, lumigan and had really bad red eye. I bought on Amazon of the counter Grandlash MD a for $40 check reviews to make sure your are not getting a knock off product. I use it ever few days as I forget and have had great results although I was a bit sloppy at first and my lower lashes started growing long. I'm more careful with application. Also my friend did it twice a day for 4-6 weeks she had to trim her lashes. Now she uses it 2 times a week .
