2 weeks post op

I am doing great, off all painkillers now and moving around easily. Still the odd ache and pain here and there, but not bad...morning boob isn't very nice, the first 5 minutes of waking up is sore and stiff. They have dropped quite a bit, but need to soften up and drop more, but it's only been 2 weeks, so I've a ways to go yet. Will post pictures soon.

9 days post op

Everything is going ok, both breasts are settling in, except the right one which is dawdling a bit. I'm very bruised on the side of that breast. The bruise is quite firm and sticks out a bit. I was told I can use an ace bandage over my bra for extra compression, but it's unbearable to have in on for even 10 minutes. I totally understand the "morning boob" phenomenon...they hurt more and feel very tight in the morning. The other thing I've noticed is the incredible amount of bloating! I look 6 months pregnant! I can't wear any pants except tights. I can't wait for that to improve.

still uncomfortable...but looking good!

I had weaned myself off of the oxycontin but last night I was in more pain again so I caved and took some and have been taking it during the day again today. The constipation when taking the oxy is awful. Oh well...the girls look great, still swollen and tight, but small improvements daily. Significant bruising on the right side, apparently my right side was very tight. I was kind of expecting that to be honest. I haven't been doing very much, mostly lying around, tiny bits of housework. I tire very easily and feel so stoned that I can't muster up much energy. What a ride this has been so far. My BF loves them already even though they have a bit of spongebob squarepants going on...ha!

So far my experience with Dr Spring and her staff has been great. Because I live in Canada, and about 5 hours away, my communication has been over the phone. I sent in photos and had a phone consultation with Dr. Spring. I have also had regular contact with Kristy, a Physician's Assistant, and the RN at the office. I instantly felt comfortable with Dr. Spring. She was very personable and knowledgeable. I will be seeing her on the 23rd for a long pre op appointment where we will make a final decision on size, and then surgery will be in the morning first thing.
