12 Weeks

12 weeks and still waiting on the full effects of D and F, it is slow going. I think I've mentioned before that recovery was harder than I expected. I've been in a constant state of discomfort. It turns out I'm allergic to the scar cream and moisturizer that I've been using since 4 weeks post-op!

My incisions were leaking a constant yellowish fluid as per my last update. I called my PS and he saw me the same day. He told me to stop using the creams immediately. The leaking stopped 1-2 days later.. my rashes are still healing. My skin is too itchy for bras and my incisions hurt, but I'm glad it was nothing more serious than that!

As for bras, I no longer fit in any Change bras. I must have tried every bra there, 30F is too wide and the smaller cup cuts into my cleavage. I bought a few bras at Nordstrom and one (too expensive) bra at Dianne's Lingerie.

10 Weeks

10 weeks and still much dropping to do so I've been holding off on buying more bras. However, I've lost some inches in rib cage due to exercising and I'm now a 30 band. It's probably why my bras have become very uncomfortable. I went to Nordstrom and grabbed a couple of really pretty bras.

Lately, I've been having problem with my incisions. There has been a light yellow discharge coming from both. I started using the antibacterial soap again in case I have an infection, but now my rashes are coming back! There is no scent or pain, but I'm concerned and will be giving my PS a call on Monday.

8 Weeks

It's been 8 weeks and I am very happy with my results. Thought I do have moments where I wish I went a tad smaller.

I had another post-op appointment this week and Dr. Pugash was also pleased with his work, lol. He cleared me for all activities. I've been exercising hoping to get the rest of me bikini ready before warm weather.

I've been having trouble with my $40 Change bras leaving red marks on my cleavage and I actually got them exchanged for a different style. I was surprised they allowed that since I've been wearing them for 3 weeks. The ones I got are better but still a little uncomfortable. I can't wait until 12 weeks, when I can buy higher quality (more expensive) bras.

Dr. Pugash was great during my consult. He is warm, honest and straight forward. I felt uncomfortable initially, but he put me at ease right away. I didn't have to ask any questions, he already knew what I wanted to know and also provided me with a good understanding of the risk of every decision. Additionally, his receptionist Simone is outstanding.
