19 Year Old Rhinoplasty - White Plains, NY

Growing up, I never liked my nose. I always got bullied for it, and it sucks because its not something I could change with my bare hands. As I got older, I promised myself I would get one as soon as I had the money for it. I hated my profile, and I've always resorted to taking photos of myself that hid my bump, made my nose look smaller or half photos of my face. I decided to take the first step, and make an appointment with Dr. Ciardullo. I made this appointment in March, and they scheduled me for a consultation May 4th. April felt like the longest month of my life, and I was so nervous. I've known doctors charging patients 12K or more, and I knew I wouldn't be able to afford it if that was the case. But a patient on Real Self said she was only charged 6k so it eased my worries a little. Somewhere in my heart, I felt like this doctor was the one. I kept telling my fiancé he has NO bad reviews whatsoever. The day of my consultation, walking into his office was like a beautiful dream. There were awards everywhere. So much, it was covering most of the wall space, & even the front desk. It was a comfortable atmosphere. Once I went into the Dr's office, again, SO many awards (Weschester's Best Doctors, and so on. He took me in to a room, asked me a few questions, and right off the back 3 things that my nose needed: the bump shaved down, my nostrils were a little wide, and it needed to be shortened. He was right!! My nose goes down a little whenever I smile, the bump needed to go, and my nostrils were uneven. In total, including anesthesia would be 7,700. For those of you that don't have the amount, they offer Care Credit which I'm going to take advantage of, if approved. Dr. Ciardullo has a book filled with other patients nose and he matched me up with a nose that would compliment my face. I loved it so much, it was a perfect, button nose!! I fell in love completely. PS: Don't let the lack of before/afters on his website fool/scare you. For those of you wondering, if you go on his website and see that there is only a handful of before and after photos, he told me those were the ones that were THE most complicated. Once you go in, your worries will be blown away. Overall, Dr. Ciardullo is the BEST. He was very sweet to my sister, mother and I. We all went in wanting different procedures, and he was able to answer all of our questions, concerns, cover everything we might need to know, one by one with the most patience. The operating room was shown to me, and the recovery room is looks very cozy. Lastly, Bobbi, and Barbara work at the front desk, and they are lovely, sweet women. Every time I called, they answered my questions completely & I never hung up the phone feeling like something wasn't explained right.

So I officially booked my surgery for July 21st. Yay!!!! (I know my last post said June 23rd. Still trying to figure all this out, forgive me) I'm really nervous but I have so much trust with Dr. Ciardullo already, I know he'll do an amazing job. Now that I booked my surgery, the receptionist told me I should be expecting some information in the mail really soon. She also booked my pre-op appointment for July 1st ..which confused me because I thought pre-op was supposed to be a week before surgery, but I guess its different everywhere!! I also need to get blood work done a week before the 21st.

Now all I can do while I wait for the big day to get here is get my much needed recovery supplies & dum dum lollipops. Hahah. I'll continue to update you guys!! xo

Important information was sent to my house today!! I believe I booked my appointment 2 days ago, and received today. So excited to start stocking up on everything.
