3 week pics
So here are my 3 week pics after working for a full day...first day with no CG...only spanx.
I must say that I've felt nervous all day...and took my CG with me...but it's so stiff that it makes me very stiff while moving.
I'm pretty happy with my swelling...I'm actually flatter than I thought I'd be.
My scar is actually pretty smooth...it's just dark. I'm going to work on lightening it now.
My BB I actually like. Right now it's quite dark on the inside because of my darker skin tone. I think once it lightens up...it will look pretty close to my original pre-baby BB.

Today is exactly 3 weeks
So today is exactly 3 weeks for me, and is my first attempt at returning to work full time. I'm standing straighter...but still not 100%. However, I don't have anyone looking at me too funny...so I must just look lazy.
I had my tape removed by the nurse last Thursday and there was still a whole lot of black stickiness leftover (I had something called prineo which is a glue and tape combo). My PS came in after and said that I needed to do a better job cleaning...and the nurse had to step in and say that she had only just removed the tape.
Also had my BB sutures removed...and that just felt weird...could see them rooting around in my BB...but couldn't feel anything. I had to end up looking away as it was making me queasy.
So...I've gone from not even touching my incision to actually having to wash it well enough to remove sticky residue...I swear I almost fainted in the shower from the anxiety this caused me.
Today I'm wearing only a spanx to work...and it feels much better. My PS says CG for 3 weeks and then recommends spanx after. I'll continue to wear my CG at night I think.
Not sure how swollen I'm going to be when I get home as these spanx are not nearly as "firm" as my CG...but they do allow me way more mobility.
I'm hoping to take some after pics when I get home today.

Amazing PS with glowing references. Have spoken first hand to previous patients. He takes the time to talk with me about all of my concerns, and never once made me feel like I'm wasting his time. The added bonus is his clinic is close to where I live, but that's just the icing on the cake.
