I was slim everywhere except my outer thighs which were huge. I decided on Liposonix and spent $3000 on 16 squares. It was painful at time of procedure, but not after. Bruising lasted about 2 weeks and was very bad, but faded completely after. After 5-6 months I only lost about an inch. Not enough to even see the difference. I decided to go forward with Lipo and lost 3 inches immediately. Bruising from Liposonix was worse than the Lipo although Lipo hurt more after the fact, but so worth the results. I wish I hadn't bothered spending my time and $$ on Liposonix.

Dr Brownell was very nice and professional even though Liposonix didn't work for me. I do wish she had told me to go get Lipo instead.

Thanks for sharing.  Did you get the lipo from the same place that you had the liposonix done?  Or did you go somewhere else?

Hi. Different place. As far as I know, Dr Brownell only does Liposonix and other aesthetic treatments (not surgery). For the Lipo I went to Dr Sandra Margoles, a plastic surgeon in Greenwich, CT. She was great. Very honest and didn't try to sell me things I didn't want or need! Dr Margoles explained the Lipo procedure and was very good at answering all my questions both before and after the procedure. I did a lot of research and met with a few plastic surgeons before the Lipo and I am very happy with my choice of Dr for the Lipo.

Glad you are happy with your lipo results- it is too bad you had to do both, that sounds expensive and disappointing.
