Severe fibrosis after UAL

Severe Fibrosis After UAL

Unfortunately my experience with Dr. Bradley was awful. The day of my surgery I was the first patient and he was very short with the instructions on post care for my UAL on my abdomen and flanks. I've seen him only once right before surgery and my follow up visits were done by another DR. Needless to say my results are terrible, my left flank had fat removed but my right flank looks untouched. Currently I'm 3 weeks post Lipo and my entire belly is as hard as a rock and yet at each visit I was told the hardness was normal and will go away with their massages and I was given more pain medication. I am very unhappy and hope I haven't caused myself harm by trusting this center with my procedure and my LIFE.

I hope you're doing well and that your procedure had a positive result. Could you share updated pictures? Best wishes!

Severe Fibrosis after UAL Pt #2

RaechelRae
After an 8 hour stay in the ER yesterday due to my hard belly turning into a very HOT belly, due to possible infection, I'm going to get checked by another Dr. I partly blame myself for not doing better research on both facility and post Op care and as a result I'm paying a very painful price. I would advise anyone to check and double check before having any procedure. If it doesn't feel right ask more questions or get a second opinion. Sometimes what works for your friends won't work for you. Do your own homework. Your surgery is just the beginning BUT your post op care determines your final results. Hopefully the Dr will give good news since I'm only 4 weeks post Op. Praying for the Best.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Has it gotten better? I'm considering this procedure but am afraid of the side effects.

Yes slowly with daily massages I do morning and nights. I had the UAL procedure which I NOW know caused my fibrosis but just make sure you ask LOTS of questions and get the drainage massages as soon as you can after your procedure. You will not regret it. This has been a very painful experience but I will make it worth the pain and money. So if it feels good and will make YOU happy do it. God Bless

Hi! Can you please provide an update? Did the fibrosis clear up completely? I’ve got it too and am so stressed!
