4 Days After Surgery - Weston, FL

I had liposuction done in my abdomen (upper and lower- he also took some off my waist). I was scared and a nervous wreck when i showed up the day of the procedure. The staff was extremely friendly and made me felt less nervous. Dr. Rodriguez was very attentive, and funny, and at the end of the day he really listened to what your concerns are. He was very professional during the entire process, he played music, and even cracked some jokes. At the end of the procedure, I was not in much pain until I had to put my garment on. PLEASE make sure that you get the right one. Don't make the mistake I made. It was painful and did not fit me. I had a friend lend me hers and the difference was night and day. Day 1 I slept pretty much all day. Day 2 I was in a little bit of pain, but nothing too crazy. Now Day 3 for me was the most painful. It was brutal getting out of bed and going to the bathroom. I tried taking off my garment to shower and almost fainted. I decided to wait until Day 4 to take it off. I did go to work, and although it was hard for me to get around I felt it was necessary. The pain level right now on a scale from 1-10 is at a 6. I will update tomorrow...

I have tried to get a follow up appointment, and they have told me that the doctor will NOT be available to see me on any Saturday, which is the only day I am able to drive all the way to where they are located. I have asked for my "before" pictures three times, and still have not received them. Aside from this, the bruising didn't last much. I have several spots where I have no sensation, I have noticed that my lower abdomen is extremely swollen at times and I'm not sure if this has to do with the surgery. Although my stomach does look smaller, I am not happy with the way I look. I guess its back to them gym, like I should've done in the first place. I would like to have another doctor look at me to see if everything is fine since Dr. Rodriguez can't be seen on a Saturday.
