One of the things I worried about was getting keloids once my incisions closed. My incisions were so tiny, well placed, and well done that all of them are flat. thank goodness. Im allergic to the adhesive on banadages and a few days post op I used a small bandage and now I have dark scaring in the shape of a bandage on my right side. It was super itchy but I got it to calm down with apple cider vinegar. The scaring be gone within in a few weeks so it's cool. I had a dent on my left side. I got a lipo foam from the dr. office yesterday during post op appt. The nurse cut it in half and I put them in my garment when I got home and wrapped a waist band around and went to sleep and the dent is damn near gone. I had no idea these foams were so affective I would've got them sooner. Dr says I can still go down another 30 to 50% so I'm happy about that. I haven't checked my weight this week but 1 week post op I gained 5 pounds. It's all fluid retention so I didn't stress it. I increased my water intake back up to a gallon and I've started working out again doing between 2.5 and 5 mi of cardio. The visual brushing is all gone but I can still physically feel it if I lay on my sides of lower back. I have a few hard lumps in my lower stomach but I was advise they would go away. I have to start massaging myself a few times a day. I'm learning that after care is the most important part of this whole process. I'm really enjoying taking care of myself this much.

When did you go back to work?

He gave me the suggestion to go back in 1 week. I was fine at one week at least with a compression garment. The first three days were hell for me.

I want to take a week off too. I don't want to have to Use all my vacation time.

Definitely don't. A week is fine just make sure you stay in your garment. I know it's very hot right now so it's irritating but I'm a month and half post op and still swell like crazy if I don't have my garment on

Are you happy with your arms after having arm lipo?
User Avatar

From losing weight I have extra skin on my arms so I knew lipo wouldnt fix that. When my arms are down they're visible smaller now and I feel comfortable enough to wear tank tops. It was recommended that I get an arm lift but my Dr also said I was really young so I held off. It's something to consider but I'm content for now
