Truth be told, I was ashamed of my over sized breasts. The first time I allowed my mother to see my breasts was when I started the process of consulting with a plastic surgeon. As I grew into a woman, my unhappiness with my breasts became more and more apparent to me. Especially, while in relationships. In addition to not feel comfortable while being intimate, I felt limited during physical activity as well.
Fortunately, I knew there was a solution! Breast Reduction. It took time to convince my mother to come to a consultation with me (she was scared) .
Unfortutnely, I did not find Dr. Messa on the first try, but thank GOD that I ended up in his hands. However, the first Doctor I met with said he would do the breast reduction but then I'd need implants. What? My thoughts exactly.
Luckily, my good friend's sister had referred a Doctor that a lot of her girlfriends at work went to. His name is Dr. Charles Messa III. She said he was a sweetheart and an excellent surgeon. So, I made an appointment! The girl I spoke to in regards to my appointment was the absolute sweetest. She was so patient and willing to listen. My consultation was set for November.
During the consultation, Dr. Messa said that I could achieve the shape and size that I wanted without ever needing a breast augmentation. He assured me that it was possible and that I was a perfect candidate for the job. Heaven to my ears!!!! My mom and I were very happy with him and his staff so it was a no brainer.
Currently, I am a week post op. I cannot begin to say how happy I am with the results. The first few days I felt minor soreness. I did not even need to use ONE pain medication. On day 3, I took an Advil. Dr. Mesa is truly amazing. He changed my life for the better. I finally feel, SEXY, CONFIDENT (naked) and overall young!!!
