I consulted Dr. Tansavatdi if there was any merit to micro needling on body stretch marks. I was on her website and noticed that she was a face specialist and used the Skin Pen on her patients' faces with amazing results. After much research on micro needling on the body, I thought I would ask anyways. Dr. Tansavatdi was patient with all my question and gave me solid, non-advasive, honest suggestions. She did say that the Skin Pen would give me the results that I wanted on my old pregnancy battle scars (I'm weary about a tummy tuck, but I wanted better skin tone, tightening and fading). Other options were also suggested, but not offered at her office and the staff was more then willing to research where I could get the other options done. I decided to stay with Dr. Tansavatdi and to do the procedure.
The staff was very accommodating and nice. Payment plans were easy. They took their time with me and made me feel welcomed.
Everything is healing nicely. The Dr. and staff told me exactly what to expect during the healing process and it put my mind at ease. I still have a few more treatments to go and I'm excited to see more progress. Dr. Tansavatdi and her staff will definite be my go to skin specialist/plastic surgeon.

I'm very interested in seeing/hearing about your results. I've been listening looking into this treatment for myself.

Posting pictures as I go through my treatments. So far so good! After one week of the treatments, there is lots of peeling. Similar to the after effects of a sunburn. Skin is smoother and tighter. Stretch marks are fading a little.

I can see a difference too. Looks tighter already. How often will you be having these treatments? And Is there any certain. Lotion they recommended?

Treatments are every 4 weeks at this point. The lotion that the dr included with the treatments is a stem cell recovery serum to be applied twice daily. Other then that, Dr. T suggested a light lotion for hydration (I'm using cetaphil).

Hi Kristina,
Ok I PROMISE I have no agenda here whatsoever, but if I were you I'd stop paying for professional treatments and get a Dermimator off a website called Vaughter Wellness - it's the best thing I've used for my stretch marks ever and I've used a lot. Basically it'll set you back about £150 quid in all, and you can use it over and over with a steriliser, just like a drrmaroller. It's cheap and way way more effective than salon skin needling, because they use sort of tattoo pens which I hear damage the skin in the long run. The Derminator has no micro tearing or something so it really is the best. I reckon people are gonna catch onto this and it won't be this available for long. But I swear to you, and all you desperate people out there on Realself, this is my honest opinion. I had angry red SM's about three months ago and I've never felt so down in my life.. I won't go into it here, but I completely blew it out of proportion. Anyway, now, they are just so much less visible. So much. And I am SO confident that they will disappear, maybe it'll take three odd years but whatever. The most promising thing I've ever read about stretch mark removal was on her website and it mentioned something about small bits of normal skin growing in the stretch marks which eventually spread and remove it completely. And you know what I believe it. The results I've seen are frigging incredible. I also use a pure cocoa butter stick (you can buy them cheap-ish in bulk) but I'm telling you, don't chuck away thousands of pounds for treatments which you can do yourself for pennies, and you can do it at home too. As long as you can put up with the freakiness of needling yourself, you're laughing. It's 100 times better than a drrmaroller because it's faster and there are denser pricks, more effective I guess.
Ok sorry for the essay, but to all you gals and guys out there who think it's all over and you've ruined your bodies, you have a shot. I'm being totally honest. Get one of these, it's just the best thing you can imagine. I am sooooo happy rn, no gimmicks or ought. It's all legit, this Vaughter woman needs a frickin medal, she's a gem. The website looks kinda gimmicky and I was unsure, but TRUST ME there's hope and you should never give up on yourselves. I love all you ladies on RealSelf and this is my gift to you haha, gd luck and BE PATIENT because you won't get results overnight. Ok peace out and good luck Kristina babe

Could you tell me what radio frequency machine is being used on you?
Results are looking really good. Is it dermal pen rather than roller and what mm depth is being used?

It's a pen at 2 mm. Not a roller.
The radio frequency is called ThermiSmooth 250. Dr. T was one of the few doctors chosen in the US to do clinical trails with this new device. It's amazing! Quick results, no down time. Just heat during the procedure, it was like a warm massage. It tighten the skin and it stayed that way even 2 weeks later. It doesn't do much for stretch marks, so that's why I'm continuing with the skin pen. Hope this helps!
