10 Hours After Two Syringes of Radiesse - Westlake Village, CA

9 days after 2 syringes of Radiesse- What a waste of $1000

Listed is a before photo taken two weeks before Radiesse. Next to it is 9 days after Radiesse. The doctor injected up along my cheek bone and was supposed to eliminate the tiny marionette lines I had.
Maybe 9 days isn't long enough but I think I look horrible. I got flu like symptoms afterward which I still have, very tired but I'm sure no doctor would attribute that to the Radiesse.
Before photo I have blush and lip stick on. After photo just lip gloss.
You be the judge.

I think it looks like a natural correction. I'm sorry you don't like it :(

You have to think that if the Doctors managed to put 2 full syringes in there that your lines must have been deep? I can see a lot of improvement but perhaps youd need some more in? Remember that it will attract water to the area & will improve a bit more over the next few weeks as everything settles down. A Doctor should always put less in so that its never over filled so that allows for further filling if required. Perhaps its because its your first experience that youre not aware of what to expect? x

Yes, he did marionette lines and went up along cheek bones. I guess I thought I would have these fabulous high cheek bones after that! I am over the drama now and just happy I didn't have any bad side effects like some ladies here! Thanks for the support.

He's done a very nice & natural improvement that will further improve. If he'd gotten rid of all the lines etc in one go then you'd probably been too shocked at the change - just wait a few weeks & then go for more til you get the results you're looking for? Honestly it's much better to do it that way especially as it's your first time x

I think you look pretty good! Your second pic is taken from a different angle and your hair is pulled back too. The RAdiesse with settle into your face but it may take a couple more weeks to see that. And it takes a while for the doctor to see how your face handles the product too... Especially if this is your first time getting it. I know that when I lived in LA and knew people who were friends with some if the glamorous stars, they would tell me that they would get touch ups a couple of times a week. I've had Botox In my forehead a few times and a couple of times I got it too close to my brows and my eyes would droop. About ten years ago doctors in LA would charge $1200 per syringe of Radiesse. I got mine in Tacoma WA yesterday for approx $500 per syringe.
Dont over analyze your selfies my friend....we don't have to keep up with the Kardashians!!

Thanks, I feel much better and I'm over the drama I created!

Shelley - it's not drama - it's a real reaction to your experience. Sharing it with others for their education and benefit is a healthy thing to do.

I had Radiesse for the first time on Friday, April 15. I'm going to post it on the part of the website here where I can download photos. I had some pretty psychedelic purple bruising from the Radiesse - which will clear itself up. But I had oral surgery two weeks before and I have a rotator cuff injury, and I've been taking Ibuprofen. I also had Botox and Juvederm in my top lip. They put the Radiesse in my cheeks, nasolabial folds and those puppet lines just below the lips. I'm 66, so my face has been succumbing to gravity.

It's been over a week ... What do you think of your results? Has the bruising and swelling gone away. Are you happy with the results?
April 14, 2016
I hate Radiesse! I wasted $1000. Bruising went away. Look at my after photo. Are my cheeks any better off? My marionette lines?
Wasted the money.

I would love to see your photos. I've had Radiesse; and I've had bruising but never such bruising without at least some result after the bruising finally went away. Did they figure out what happened? I cannot see your pictures for some reason.

This is a photo taken 2 weeks prior to my Radiesse injections. I'm embarrassed because I think many will say that I didn't need anything at all as the doctor told me . I just wanted something for the marionette lines. I have a feeling that they won't even be gone after all this bruising goes away.!

You are a beautiful woman !!!! Dont bother with Radiesse any more at all !! Its totally not worth the risk . I think you just have some bruising that will subside and you will be fine . I myself was one of those horror stories :( Dont read them , honest , you will get yourself way worked up more than you need . Just do your best to relax , apply arnica , and NEVER use Radiesse again !! LOL
April 10, 2016
Thank you so much. I'll will never use this junk again. I guess I should blame myself but had the doctor mentioned it can't be reversed I would have jumped out of the chair. I hope things work out for you.
April 10, 2016
Your welcome !! And DO not blame yourself !!!!!!! I know , the thing about Radiesse is it can not be reversed like juvederm , belotero , etc . But even with that being said . Reversing injectables can be tricky as well and come with risks of there own . So just wait it out and take it as a lesson learned :) This is what I tell myself everyday ....lol
