Hello, and thank you for anyone who reviews this post and finds it helpful as this site and all the stories shared gave me the confidence to make the move i am about to in removing this blasted things. As many have stated before me, you live and learn. Many years ago as a teen bride I had many faulting ways of thinking including what self-confidence meant, what beauty is, and the meaning of self-acceptance in a world where external reinforcments meant everything where self worth failed. Fast forward to a different way of thinking and real self-worth I'm almost ashamed at the extent that we go to change the beauty we are given. Anyway, I'm scheduled for 4/29/16 and admittedly nervous as the initial surgery did not go as planned but i'm ready! so ready! i'm electing to have no lift and just go with me as me. I'm not even certian how much breast tissue is left (i'd like a little). So i welcome anyone who is interested to take this adventure with me! I've never used this site so bear with me as i try to upload photos and things

Surgery over!!!
Hello all, surgery went well on friday and I'm now day three post-op. Just wanted to update some photos for those of you interested in how my healing is going. I'm happy that there is some breast tissue, but like my 8 year old daughter said "they are flat" lol. Yes, baby they are but they are mine :)
