Thinking of having lower eye blepharoplasty. I have always had some puffiness under eyes, especially in the morning. As I've gotten older(36), they've become more apparent, and the morning puffiness takes longer to subside. My midday, morning puffiness has lessened, but I still have bags. Have gone on consults and am still going on consults. I want the surgery, but am very nervous and scared. I don't know if I should hold out for FDA approval of xaf5?! Two doctors said to try filler, one Dr said surgery. I just know I am not happy with my reflection anymore!

I’m in exactly the same situation. When and how will we find out when this product is on the market? Have you decided to do anything in the mean time?

I've googled it and the articles say sometime in 2018, if it gets approved. I'm still on the fence about having it done or waiting.

I can't see any difference in the before and after, are you happy with your results? I live in NJ/NY area and there are so many drs that do eyelids and is so hard to find a good one.

Lower Blepharoplasty with Laser Resurface
I will be having lower blepharoplasty with laser resurfacing on 6/25. I am nervous and excited to be doing this. This is something I've wanted to do for myself for awhile now. I'll be 38 and I feel my bags make me look tired and older than my true age.

Good luck and I'm sure you'll look great. I just turned 47 and have been bothered with my eyes for years. I set a goal for myself for surgery this year and now I'm trying to decide on doctor. Wish I had pursued it when younger like yourself.

Thanks a bunch!! Yes, was planning on doing this last year, but a family member got sick. Now, I'll be 37 in August, and so I decided now or never. I'm physically there, still working my body and mind on being mentally and emotionally! We all do it on our own time.

I did it in March in Troy, Michigan with Dr. Harake. 45 years old. Did co2 resurfacing too. it's incredible. I look 10 years younger. you are going to love it
If you're not in a rush, maybe try it next year and then if that doesn't work, try surgery?
