Fraxel Destroyed My Face - Westborough, MA

Due to problems with RealSelf removing and editing all my previous updates (many of them years after they originally posed. I can't help but wonder who was behind that???) this will be my final update. I am now five years out from fraxel destroy that should have never, ever, ever, been performed on a person with very fine, nearly flawless skin. Any doctor who would do this to someone with nearly perfect skin is ___________________ you fill in the blanks. I have aged 25 years since this doctor that I trusted destroyed my face. At five years out, nothing has improved. I still have holes that have turned into lines, almost all the fat on my once very chubby faced was melted away. All the collagen and elastin in my skin was destroyed despite the fact that this doctor assured me that it would build collagen. Ha! Don't believe everything doctors tell you. I do not recommend laser treatment for anyone unless you have really, really, really bad pock marked, lumpy, bumpy textured skin from cystic acne. In such sever cases, the damage the laser causes may not be as bad as the original condition. I would not recommend this doctor. He destroyed my face and never did one thing to try and help. All he did was deny the damage he did. He was very condescending and lacked any sense of compassion or remorse. If you want more information please send me a personal message.

This month marks the thrid anniversary since my face was mutilated by laser surgery. Just to update: The fat loss seems to have stopped as of last November (2012). My skin however is an entirely different story. It continues to get thinner and more crepey. The lines formed by the connecting microdot holes are increasing all over my face. The extensive damage and lines around my mouth area are growing deeper. No part of my face has been spared from the ravages of the laser. My skin has aged 25 years in the last three. Prior to Fraxel, I could look at myself in a 10x magnifying mirror and not see a flaw. Today, I am tormented and horrified just looking in a regular mirror. My face is a total mess.
