Most of dead skin off. Skin very pink and sensitive. But very, very smooth and even. Pores less noticeable. Skin still tight and a bit itchy at times. I wish I could keep the slight swelling as it makes my skin look firmer. Time will tell if the melasma stays away. The parts where it was that peeled away is quite pink. I have my fingers crossed that it doesn't return. I've used oils and gentle moisture and sunscreen which have helped with quick healing. Warm long showers with gentle exfoliation a must to rid the flaking skin.

Hi , you can take heliocare internal sunblock during summer to reduce chances of recurrence. Be very careful about your sunblock and wearing hats when out in sun for atleast two months now. I will give it about two months before we know full effects of the laser treatment. I will pray for yiu that it stays away. I know how it feels to have those ugly patches. All the best.

You look great.
I'm a victim of Fraxel Lasering gone bad and the damage is no joke! I would suggest that you don't do another round of lasering and be grateful that it has not ruined your healthy skin cells. I only did two lasers and the second one really ruined my skin. It seems as though doctors do not know enough about treating the damage once things go wrong and the Laser company will not assist anyone that is damaged by their machine. You are and have taken a big risk -one that is not necessary. Love yourself the way you are because if things go wrong you will feel bad that you made an issue out of nothing. Believe me when I tell you that I would much rather suffer from melasma then this chronic skin deterioation. It really sucks!
Best of luck

I'm only 3 days out and still healing so I haven't seen the full effect. Or if my melasma will return.

Melasma completely peeled off, skin very smooth for most part. A couple of sandpaper patches left to forehead sides of face and neck- my skin is very pink and smooth that has peeled. Melasma looks like it's 100 percent gone in all areas. Hope it lasts. Been using cerave, rosehip seed oil, and Tamanu oil. Vit c sparingly for healing. Sunscreen.
