I should add...

I have multiple regular tattoos, black & white and color.... and none of them have had problems. So I'm not sure why this color would disappear when my body didn't reject the others.

I've been looking into permanent makeup for a long...

I've been looking into permanent makeup for a long time now because I want to have a fresh face when I need to run out the door without having to sit down and put makeup on. I want to go a whole day without my makeup rubbing off, and go to the gym without wearing real makeup or looking like a mess lol.

All my research has led me to Ashley Swain, who I've found to be the best in South Florida. Her prices are a lot higher than other places (you get what you pay for!) but she had a groupon out for $275. So I went in to get my eyebrows done, because they're sparse in some spots and not the color I like.

Ashley was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. This is ALL she does. Don't go to someone who offers so many other services because they could be doing permanent makeup for 20 years but only one a month. Experience is everything. Its a tattoo.. on your face! They have to pick the right color, the right shape, the right size, and the right technique. So many places offer one size fits all.. which doesn't look good on anyone.

Ashley was a perfectionist, nit picking every little detail.. which I LOVE! She really cared that they came out the best they could be. When I left, it looked like someone had drawn my eyebrows on with a sharpie, which is normal lol. Oh, and she does use numbing cream, which makes all the difference. They scabbed up that day, which means they're healing, and after a few days that scabbing fell off. At that point, I saw I only had the outline of my eyebrows tattooed. I'm still not sure if she just didn't tattoo the filling.. or if that came off, because it looked like she did the whole thing when I was there. Now, a few days later, as they're healing.. I'm noticing other parts are no longer tattooed. I knew the color would fade a little bit as they healed, but it's completely disappearing. I'll check with her at my touchup.

Price! I read her info and she normally charges $600 for eyebrows and $400 for eyeliner. Like I said, I paid $275 for the Groupon, and she said she would give me the same price if I do my eyeliner too. I have to go back in a few weeks for a touch-up, which is another $100... which is her disposal fee to open another pack of needles.. but this was never disclosed to me before. But if I do my eyeliner at that point, they will waive that fee because she only has to open one pack and that $100 is included in the $275.

I'm going to continue to watch as they heal and see if the color sticks, before deciding if I want the touch up or eyeliner done.

I've been horrible at taking pics but I'll post some later
