Nothing but the Truth. Dr. Barr Brought Back My Confidence - West Palm Beach, FL

I am here to give an honest, straight up true review. I am 53 y/o smoker, I fish, therefore I am in the sun a lot, I've had every procedure done that you can think of. I reached a point where I felt spending money on Restalyne, Botox, Juvederm, was costly and the results did not last. My face was becoming "lumpy from fillers along with acne scars I've hated my whole life. I had a few consultations from recommendations from friends etc. Some Doctors wanted to do silicone drops injections to full blown out face/neck lift. I didn't feel I needed all that work at 53. I came across Dr. Barr on this site, went for my free consultation. We discussed different options. When he suggested a mini face lift, I asked if it would get rid of my scars. His response was "No" in my head I was disappointed, but he told me the lift would improve my jowls and make a big improvement. After going home and reviewing all my consultations, Dr. Barr's solution seemed the most logical. Now for the hard part for me. Because he is very thorough there were a lot of rules, quit smoking was the hardest ( 2 weeks prior) I vaped , A list of things you cant take including alcohol! giving up my vices were definitely the hardest part of the process. Day of surgery, went into the office like any other appointment. sat in the office chair, and Dr. Barr started injecting anesthesia, just like that!. Not going to lie. I panicked for a second. He asked me if I wanted to reschedule, His nurse Candy calmed me down and within 5 mins I was fine. We talked through the whole procedure. They both were so wonderful for awhile I forgot I was having surgery! Trust me not having to go under is the best way to go and so safe. So that was done, I go home, and again, not going to lie. it was uncomfortable for the first 2 days. Dr. Barr gave me Tramadol which for my system is like a baby aspirin, Whoever said she went out for dinner the next night I find incredible. 3rd day, I was good, shocked ! 8 weeks later (which has flown by) scars are hardly noticeable with my very short hair. I will never forget the moment I put on my makeup a month later , stepped back, and literally said "Wow" I look good! I have attached before and after photos, please note the before photos I had my makeup on to the max. The after photos were taken at like 8:30 am without a stitch of makeup. I don't even think I washed my face! After a couple of weeks I went out, got a great job, I feel my scars have improved. Most people can't figure out what is different about me, I asked my husband who said 'It's subtle, and has taken years off you.. Okay, my husband never says things like that so I am beyond any doubt so happy to find Dr. Barr, his amazingly, kind staff, and I am more than happy to tell you the honest truth if you have any questions, Please be careful, be realistic with your results and please consult with more than one doctor, I will continue to see Dr. Barr and highly recommend him!
