I have needed a breast lift for a long time, nursing two babies takes its toll. My girlfriend had a BA and they look fantastic. Decided I deserved to do something for me. I have been excited but as the date draws closer, I am feeling a bit nervous.

I am active and the down time concerns me, but I have been assured it will be worth it.

I noticed you joined RealSelf a few months ago. It's nice to see you took your time researching doctors and found one you like and trust to perform your surgery. Do you know yet if you'll be getting a lift with or without implants? Do you have a surgery date yet?

Had a breast lift with implants on February 7th. The surgery went well.

Congratulations! How has the recovery been? When did your doctor say you could become more active? Did you get your stitches out on Friday? Hope you're doing well!

Dr. DeLange's staff were very friendly and reassured me every step of the way. I had my lift with implants on February 7th and I have been feeling pretty good. The first 36 hours were uncomfortable, but I did not have the amount of pain I had expected. I was given a prescription for pain, but found myself cutting them in half and only took a total of 4 pills.

Lift and implant surgery went well. I have been feeling pretty good. Had my follow up with the doctor today and he said everything looks good. I have to go back on Friday to have the stitches removed.
