Hi all…. large baby girl and years of being overweight have left me with a belly that just can't be dieted or exercised away. I've lost 65 pounds over last two years, but the belly and skin apron needs surgical attention. I'm having surgery on Dec 27th. I had a BR about 18 months ago which really propelled my weigh loss and overall commitment to fitness. I work out 5 days a week and stay active with my nearly 6 year old daughter (ice skating, roller skating, etc.) The belly is one of the last pieces of my transformation. I feel great and look forward to getting the surgery done. I am using the same surgeon who did my BR. I am 46 years old.

so your goin to erwin bulan i heard of him. maybe over here but the name ring a bell nothing negative at all.That is how i m the belly shrunk after weight loss this year! almost 60 big pounds of yucky belly fat,back rolls gone but apron still there UGH! waste stretch out all in the front really is the fat,so i can't wait to get mine late january winter 2014. i too am in ny,nj local tri-state here. so good luck to u. mid 40s?still young hun,just enjoy each day and you are goin to look fabo! i can't wait myself.good luck. from jesi*

So far okay. Pain has been manageable. Stayed in hospital overnight. Well worth the cost. Home now.

Feeling remarkably good. Pain mostly when getting out of recliner. And at the drain sites. Slept in recliner last night. Drinking tons of water so in the bathroom every 2 hours. No poops yet but some gas. A staying on top of meds to keep pain at bay. No big complaints. Even washed my hair over the sink.
