29 Year Old Slowly Undoing the Damage from Excessive Lifestyle - West Orange, NJ

I was going to put that I wasn't sure I felt it was worth it however after I thought about it I do have to say it is. I like a lot of young ladies really enjoyed by 20's and 2 years ago, I started to notice the consequences. Smoking on and off for nearly 10 years thinned my lips a lot and as a reward for losing 30 lbs, I decided to get Silikon 1000 in my lips and under my eyes to lessen the look of bags. I did my lips twice, my eye hallows once. I love my eyes, literally it was the best money I ever spent and for that alone I would recommend this service and my doctor.

My lips are slightly uneven naturally and I noticed it more after the first treatment so I had rushed to get them "fixed" in my head in oct. 2014 and they are now slightly uneven on the opposite side. The two people who know I've done anything say they can't tell so it may just be me since I obsessed over them. I don't think I gave myself enough time between treatments and that would be something I would stress if you want this - give it TIME!!!! I will also say that I noticed firm/sore bumps on my top lip as that was the thinner of my lips but 3 months after my last treatment they are 90% gone - i can feel a tiny pressure difference on the right side of my top lip with my tongue where it's less pillowy and a mild "bump" on my bottom lip that feels similar. Neither of those spots are at all visible, I can just feel them myself - my significant other can't tell at all.

My first visit took a long time as I think he was overbooked however that worked in my favor as the numbing cream sat on my my lips and under my eyes for at least 20-30 minutes. I felt nothing at all under my eyes except for the inner part of my left eye and that was just discomfort, not pain. The lips I felt a bit of pain more so on the under part of the top lip which was less numb. He also filled 2 chicken pox scars on my forehead which made them less noticeable.

My second visit was just my lips and I think much more like a normal time frame for a visit because the I only had the numbing cream for maybe 15 minutes and in comparison the visit felt more rushed (the first visit was 2 hours!). The lips hurt much more this time, I felt every stick despite the numbing cream and my eyes teared from the beginning. I think it took me longer to heal the second time as I was sore longer, nearly 2 weeks, though that could be due to not being totally healed after the first treatment.

I am considering a 3rd treatment due to the uneven parts I notice though for appearance, I would be fine with staying the way I am. I want to look natural, not like I had anything done, to look like I hadn't partied as hard for as long. I just had to update my drivers license and I compared it to my picture at 20 and I look nearly the same age with a different hair color! I looked at my previous drivers license and can see the difference in my lips and my face in general, I appeared older at 24 than at 20 or 28/29.

I have done mirco-dermabrasion previously and now do it at home myself infrequently (I'm a cosmetologist) and while I like it, I don't think I've gotten results I'm looking for. I am about to start derma rolling and will review that in a few months as I have some lines on my forehead and my neck isn't as tight as it once was. I am waiting another 3 months before considering getting a 3rd silikon treatment on my lips and if I do, I will update.
