Quick 3 Month Update

newday16
WORTH IT$22,000
Just a quick 3 month update. Doing very well overall, almost back to my full activity/fitness level. Still dealing with swelling in my upper abdomen, especially after eating something too salty, enjoying some wine and after exercising. I just started lymphatic massages which seam to be helping, and am wearing a medium size compression garment, and will be ready for a small very soon. Am absolutely loving wearing clothes and having a more defined shape. Really focusing on my diet and exercise to take off a few more pounds and maximize my procedures.

Happy healing all, enjoy your summer:-)

Did u get a drainage. If yes how did u take care of it. My surgery is is September. I just call my doctors office and ask them if they us drainage and they said yes.
July 11, 2017
I had 4 drainage tubes, they were removed one by one over a three week period, as the drainage dropped to less than 25 cc in a day. After removing the last tube from my pubic area, I had some residual drainage for almost a week, and just kept a sanitary pad there to collect it. I never had any seromas or large fluid pockets that had to be aspirated

Thank you darlin!!!!!!! Still healing, but coming along well. Hope you are enjoying the summer
July 14, 2017
Thank you! I just had my arms, side of chest and thighs done... should have waited til it cooled off, hot all wrapped up.
July 14, 2017
CONGRATULATIONS!! I've spoken with my PS about an arm lift, bra line back and thigh lift. When I do it, I vowed to do it when it's cold out, LOL. Wearing compression in the summer just isn't fun
July 14, 2017
Thank you, ma'am!! Yes! Wait til it's cool. Actually not too bad of a surgery, just pain having to be lazy for two weeks to keep from opening up thigh crease.
July 14, 2017
So glad to hear!! I've heard mixed reviews about the thighs being the toughest surgery, and I was considering just living with them. But the more weight I lose, the more wrinkly and crapy skin I seem to get. Anyway, so happy for you!!!
July 15, 2017
Thank ya!! I'm just over a week post op and the only painful moments I've had were getting out of bed the first time, going to the potty (female urinal and toilet seat riser are a must), and being bored out of my mind. I was completely off pain meds 4 days post op. I've seen too many, do too much and open up. I would much rather do absolutely nothing for the entire first two weeks than chance opening up then, had open wound for an additional month. A helper for your every need the first week, is good too. Need Electric lift recliner a must also!!
July 15, 2017
Thx so much!! Continue to take it easy, Can't wait to see pics:-)
July 15, 2017
You're welcome!! Yes ma'am, will do!!

I was wondering what your breast were before and after? I am at a very saggy 42dd but the cup is still too big and a d is too small..so I'm inbetween. I'm looking to get a tt and a breast reduction too. Did you get a reduction without implants or a breast lift? What size are you now?
July 16, 2017
I received a lift and augmentation with silicone implants. Was a DD before, and think I'm still a DD now. Haven't purchased a new bra as I'm still wearing the one with compression garment. They also haven't dropped completely

You look fabulous. Just FYI, I'm 18months post op and still swell ... I workout 6 days a week, and swell after that, and lots of other random times. My Doc said it's just one of those things, I had a lot of belly fat, so I believe it's the dramatic change to ones lymphatic system, it's like a fluid traffic jam in your body, and it takes time for the fluid to find it's way out. I wear a light compression garment everyday, and it helps. I too had a lot of lymphatic massages for 3-6mths post surgery, and they helped.
August 2, 2017
I agree, it is a DRASTIC shock to the lymphatic system. I am pretty much back to my intense workout regime, and notice that the swelling isn't as bad, as long as I drink TONS of water and minimize the simple sugary carbs and wine. When I eat that stuff, it's swell hell. I'm gonna start trying to go without the garment during the day, and still wear it while working out and at night. Will see how things go:-)

10 weeks post op

10 week surgiversary today. Doing very well overall!! Scars are lightening, and I'm getting stronger and stronger each day. Working out regularly, and slowly regaining strength in my abdominals. Still dealing with tightness and swelling, and wearing compression 24/7, except when showering. All in all, this has been life changing. There are a couple touch ups that my PS wants to do, and we've discussed doing a brachioplasty and bra line back lift at the same time. It's just a matter of when I'm ready.

You look amazing! What was your breast size before surgery and now after? You didn't get implants right? Your breast and tummy look amazing. So inspiring!

Thanks for the kind words! I was between a D and DD before. I did get silicone implants, and am about a DD now, still swollen, and waiting for them to drop

I'm a few days out from having a fleur de lis tt , lipo on thighs, an breast lift with 375 ccs implants. I was 331 at my heaviest and around surgery I was around 238... I have not taken my cg off yet , but seeing your amazing results just makes me so excited!! The pain is like nothing I've endured - even brain surgery that I had a year ago! But it does get better. I think the worst thing is when I get these coughing fits.. I press a pillow to help, but it is so excruciating. I wish I could just sleep for week! Lol. I only took off 1 week off from work , I hope I didn't make a mistake! I figured since I sit behind a desk it wouldn't be so bad! Try for sharing your journey, I will follow you for more updates!
July 14, 2017
Sincere apologies for the late response!! I somehow missed this! Thx for your kind words, and congrats on your surgery. I know it's tough now, but I PROMISE, it gets better. By around week three or four, it should be easier for you to cough and sneeze. My skin itching and irritation also subsided somewhat around then, and my energy levels started returning to kinda normal. Drink lots of water, eat tons protein, take arnica, and try to walk daily until your PS clears you for exercise. Inbox me with questions if needed:-)

Need a new wardrobe

newday16
I don't know why, but I totally didn't budget for the fact that I'll need new clothes, LOL! But it sure is fun wearing clothes without a belly and with some more defined curves. Doc says I really won't see final results for 3-6 months, but I'm optimistic so far:-)
