4 months post coolsculpting arms

I just hit my 4 month marker and having only done one treatment I am very pleased with my results. Since I first got my arms done at the end of June I had knee surgery July 13th. In early August I did start physical therapy and working with a trainer 2xs/week to help me build strength again and stay sane. I’ve always been athletic and a pretty clean eater, but my knee pre and post surgery plus going through a year of neck rehabilitation has drastically changed my athletic life and self esteem. Long story short- when I first started, my measurements were:
RA 11 3/4” LA 11 1/2
Today both arms are 11”
My trainer did take my body fat in August and again on October 24and my arm was 1 pinch/point less than before. So, clearly I lost fat!!! Im very happy with my results and someday plan to go back to do more.

After many weeks of research of various places and reading many reviews on RealSelf I decided to get Coolsculpting done on my arms. I originally decided on the older procedure that cost $600 per arm for the one hour treatment, but after researching a little more, went with the newer Cool Advantage panels that cost $750 per arm for 35minutes. I'm glad I did because my nurse informed me, I made a better choice(if you can spend the extra) because the results are typically the same, if not better with the newer attachment. It's able to cover/suction better and the pain/recovery is less than the older model. She highly recommended it for the arms and for other areas of your body there really isn't a difference except in time and price.
Once the panels were attached, it didn't really hurt for me, felt like that freezing sensation you get when you're reaching your hand into the ice chest searching for that last soda. The moment only lasted for a short amount of time and then it went numb. She propped my arms up, turned on Netflix and periodically checked on me to see how I was doing. After 35 minutes the panels came off and a piercing stinging sensation came over my arms, which only lasted for a few seconds. She told me to breath as she started massaging the area with Arnica for two minutes. She warned me it could be very painful and some patients heart rates increase or require a second nurse to assist them. For me, my arms were so numb I could not feel a thing...thank goodness! Once it was done my arm muscles felt a little lethargic, like an intense arm workout, but it wasn't bad and didn't last very long. My arms were red and my flab felt very weird-cold, kinda squishy and even more flabulous! The cold lasted maybe an hour and some discomfort started to register, feeling like an extremely sore muscle. I only noticed it when I'd feel my squishiness, accidentally hit my arm on something or moved in a weird way. Sorta like someone is pinching you pretty hard. A little Tylenol plus rubbing Arnica on my arms significantly reduced the pain. That night I slept just fine.
I'm on day two and the redness is gone. Still a little sore and swollen and for some reason my left arm feels flabbier. My skin feels numb and my arms only hurt if I squeeze them or massage them(which you have to do!) I haven't had any Tylenol today either. I did take measurements with the assistance of my lovely daughter and here's what they are: Before- RA 11 3/4" LA 11 1/2" diameter After- RA 12" LA 12 3/4"
Crazy difference and kinda makes me self conscience about showing my arms right now! I don't know if it has to do with my right being dominant or what, but that's where I'm at today. Overall I'm pleased with the procedure and hope my experience helps
