Had Saline for 20 Years

Just had my saline implants and a lift yesterday. So far it's been pretty easy. I have take a couple Percocet today and one yesterday.
I had saline implants put in under the muscle going from a B to a DD. They felt rippled on the sides and every month I would get what felt like an ovarian cyst. Also had a lot of sensitivity to chemicals . Had to switch to everything organic and natural or I would get a rash. Through this site I had found that a lot of people had similar symptoms. So I decided to get them removed .
Also playing a part in this is that I am very devoted to bikram yoga and it was hard to lay on my stomach and do some poses. I would get inflammation in the weirdest places like between my big and second toe and my ankles. Also had huge knots all around my scapula and I felt like my organs were working on overtime to compensate for these foreign objects inside my body.
After 20 years with these boobs I am so ready to have little perky ones. Currently I have an ace bandage on til tomorrow when I take my first shower in 48 hrs .

Absolutely thrilled for you! I'm so anxious to get mine out. Waiting on insurance determination before I can schedule. Will pay out of pocket if necessary. Hope you have an easy recovery.

Did you have your implants temoved en bloc or capsulectomy? Did you have any auto immune problems?
March 15, 2016
I had no real problems with them. PS said he removed scar tissue but I don't think it was as severe as en bloc but again I had no problems in terms of rupture or disease .

I have had my implants since 2004 although I had them replaced with smaller implants twice. They look ok from the front but ridiculous from the side. Still too big and hard as rocks. Sometimes they hurt and when I go out in the cold they get very tight. After nursing 3 I was barely an A and had always been a B. I told the PS I wanted to be a B again and did not want to be big. I went from A- to D+, it was awful. Would like to explant but know I have no tissue left. I am 53 and would like to see how you made out when you are ready to post pics if you plan to.

Will definitely post pics soon. I got a lift at the time of explant and I'm glad I did. I would have been happy with little to no breast tissue as long as my nipples weren't pointing south anymore! Little [RS bleep] are adorable and so easy to maneuver thru life with!!

Champion Double Dry Style 6211 Size Large and I'm seeing a few here and there on eBay but it must be discontinued which is a shame because I have 3 of them and they are the most comfortable sports bras I have ever owned! Looks like I'll need to go shopping in person to find new ones :(

Surprisingly I have a lot of breast tissue. Took bandages off yesterday and put gauze incisions. I looked down briefly and saw that I now have a tiny aereola but I started feeling sick just looking at the incisions and haven't really seen my new breasts in full view. Still some discomfort no bra feels great and I bought handmade ones with no seams. Looking forward to being braless! Been using a lot of different essential oils for tissue repair and inflammation. For the pain still taking about three Percocet a day. I tried switching to Tylenol only but it wasn't strong enough. Gonna start my day off with a Percocet today then hopefully switch to Tylenol. Monday I'm going for acupuncture which promotes tissue repair and helps with pain. Been drinking green vibrance and have had no issue with constipation. Will post pics as soon as I am brave enough to look.????
Thanks to all the brave women explanters on this site that gave me the courage and inspiration to be implant free!!

February 21, 2016
Just read your bio.. Sweetie I'm so sorry you went thru that! It hasn't been long for you, the sooner you get them out the easier your body will snap right back!!

I never liked them from day one. Said goodbye to running and aerobics 20 years ago the day I got them in. Now I'm about two more weeks of healing away from a full life again!! The lift was the hardest part which luckily you have already done!!

I had my 400cc 15 yo saline sub muscular implants explanted Thursday, 4 days ago. I was a 34 DD+ and today 2-7-16 a 34 C! So so so happy to be normal again. I wished I would of done this year's ago. I've hated being big the entire 15 years!

Your results look great! Soo much better without the implants! However I would suggest maybe waiting for your incisions to heal a little more before applying essential oils directly onto them? You don't want them to get infected! Will keep following your updates :) xx

I feel like such an idiot because I wish I was one of the majority of women who love their implants. I honestly hate them... I hate how they make me feel and I hate what I've done to my body...But in trying to be positive and learn something out of all these.. I'm so thankful to everyone who share their stories. They make me feel less lonely.you look so good and you are right ready for a full life again. thank you so much

I hate my implants, too. I’ve had them for thirty years, have wanted to remove them for a long time, but plastic surgeons all said I’d look deformed. Until I found A wonderful BII Facebook page, I thought I couldn’t explant and I thought I’d be okay, health-wise. My plastic surgeon told me they were completely safe. Now that I’m older on a fixed income, very sick and hurting like crazy and I don’t have money like I did when I was young. I know how you feel, though. I’m so angry at myself for being stupid enough to have an augmentation. I’m ashamed of what I’ve done to my body. I want them out! :(
