Dropped 50 over the past year with a renewed focus.
It’s been difficult to keep the weight off even with the advantages of a gastric sleeve. The past year I’ve had great luck with the help of an amazing wife. I also had skin reduction surgery in December. Keep fighting the good fight. 195 pounds now from my high if 230 pounds before Bariatric surgery.
Finally hit 200
It’s been a fight but finally hit 200 pounds. I’ve lost 50 pounds in 7 months. I also had skin reduction surgery on my chest and abdomen. That surgery is more difficult than anyone tells you. The past 3 months since surgery have been a killer.
Starting whole 30
Still working to keep it off. I’ve been as high as 265 ( Covid high )in the past year. I’m 240 today. Would like to get back in the 220’s. I’m one week into whole 30. I’ve done it before and lost 20 pounds so hoping to kick it into gear. I talk to many people who had gastric sleeve and 5 years out most have gained it back. I’m in the minority to be anywhere around 100 pounds down still. It’s a fight but I’m not giving up. For me the big positive is you can’t binge eat a whole pizza or something. You can however drink your calories or slowly graze 5000 calories so you need to be vigilant still a great decision. I got married 2 weeks ago. I’ll share some pics.
