Not ideal results, but the best possible

The strattice worked great to keep my implants from bottoming out, but because of my bad skin integrity they still fall to the sides. This has nothing to do with how the doctor performed the surgery.
Years down the road I think I will have a lift and go with smaller implants. I think if I had done this in the first place there would not have been a need for any revisions. For those who are considering implants after a lot of weight loss I really recommend considering your skin and the size of the implants. Most times women want to go bigger, but in this case that can have a negative impact on your results. And even if you don't "need" a lift, remember that the implant will weight down the skin and stretch it more. So the lift in the beginning would save a great deal of trouble.

I’m afraid that I’m turning into one of those people who is never satisfied.

3+ months post 2nd revision with strattice.
They haven’t dropped down, which is perfect, but they have dropped to the sides even more than before this last surgery.
When I saw the nurse for my post op I even asked if they were supposed to be so far apart. She assumed I just needed time to heal. Well I have. It’s all ok until I have to lay down, especially in a swimsuit.
I will call and talk to the doc. But I’m not paying for another revision.

Final thoughts and a bit of advice.

This revision did not work. I ended up having another one a few weeks ago which included using strattice. This is something I would recommend 100% to anyone who has lost a lot of weight or has very thin skin. It is costly which is why I didn't do it to start with. Had I known that my skin was too weak to hold the implants I'd have had the Strattice put in at the start.
