I have met with my PS and I am excited for my procedure! My stomach is a mess from 3 big babies and 3 surgeries. 1 C-section 2 other surgeries. This has been a long time coming. I am ready to fit in clothes that are the right size and not one size up to fit over the loose skin of my stomach. I am getting a TT with muscle repair and a BL at the same time.

How are you?! How's recovery going? Happy with your results so far?
April 9, 2018
hey there! I’m doing good! Nothing major. my back hurts from time to time, I still get tired and am listening to my body Nd resting but it sure makes me feel lazy! lol. I think my recovery is pretty standard or maybe even easier than some have it so no complaints. I am definitely happy with my results!! It will be fun to see the changes as the swelling goes down. It’s amazing how that can fluctuate! How about you? How’s your recovery and how are you feeling?

Doing good back to work full time. Rest when I can. Glad to hear your recovery is going well. Yeah swelling is weird one day to the next. Mine is uneven so my belly looks weird. I hate it. But I know it will eventually pass. Probably doing more than I should, but 3 kids, job house and a hubby who works over noghta 14 hour shifts I gotta do what I gotta do. How is your BL doing? Im doing that next year.
April 9, 2018
Today was my first full day back. It went fine. my kids are older so maybe a little easier but also very busy in sports. we just did the 15 minutes everyone clean. makes me feel a million times better to see it clean! lol. my swelling is horrible today and I have no idea why! yes it’s part of it but it will sure be fun to see the real results!:). BL is good. basically wear a sports bra for a month. massage scars. they are starting to relax a little so looking more natural. I think I will really like the results! I put on a swim top and was sure fun to see cleavage that wasn’t sagging!:)

Ha ha ha. Awesome! I do the same thing with the house. I call it let's all help out time. Usually about 15-20 minutes of me a 10 and 7 years old tidying up. Makes the mental game a bit easier. Continued blessings on your healing. :-)

You too! It will be fun to keep seeing our progress!:)

How did everyone deal with the anticipation???

Momof3monsterboys
I am 3 weeks out today and it seems this is all I can think of! I am making lists of things to get done and things I need before I go. Pre op is next Wednesday. I am a little nervous but very excited to have this done! Any tips on preparing that you wish you would of thought of? Plus any tips to deal with the wait would be great!! lol I keep looking at pics and the results are amazing on here. Reading reviews has helped a ton in making sure I am prepared.

congratulations! oh man I remember the wait when it was getting close. the anticipation, being nervous, trying to prep, etc. The only thing I could do was to keep myself as busy as possible so that I wouldn’t think about it. easier said than done. ha. tips for prepping, I wold suggest planning your recover station. I got a walker which personally I feel is a MUST! some got toilet seat raisers but I didn’t and I was fine getting up and down. the shower was soooo hard so I highly recommend a shower chair. I wish I would have done that. I wold get so dizzy and feel like I was gonna to pass out or throw up for quite some time whenever I would take a shower. that was me though, you may be different. I had my station in the living room on a recliner. I had everything setup and practiced getting in and out of it with the walker and walking to essentials like the bathroom or kitchen for water and whatnot. I setup all my medications, remotes, charging stations, etc at a table next to my recliner so I got up as little as possible at first. also make sure you have pillows to prop your legs up. I suggest stiff pillows, like the decorative ones for your couch. the ones I sleep on didn’t give much support holding my legs up. I hope that helps. I have a lengthy review with some more info, but this is what I recall off the top of my head! good luck! can’t wait to see pics and updates! super exciting!!

I figured everyone goes through this! I am like a kid 2 weeks before Christmas! lol I do have a lot going on so hoping that will keep my mind off of it. I did find a used walker. My sister in law is a nurse and is taking the first 3 days to live with me to take care of me. I am so relieved about not having to keep track of anything and knowing she will make sure everything is a ok! I am borrowing a recliner. The side table is a great idea! I keep scouring to see if I am forgetting anything. I am a list maker so I keep adding to it! I don't have a shower chair but my Grandma does so maybe my sister can run it down a few times until I can stand. I read your review and love your results! Thanks so much!

I was the same! back and forth between a kid in a candy store and the totally terrified because I’m such a worry wart. ultimately in the grand scheme of things it wasn’t terrible. and man was it worth it! every day you get to see a little more progress and shape forming. it’s such an exciting time!

Congrats on taking steps to get your body back! The anticipation is a killer lol nothing you can really do but wait it out, make more lists, go over your supplies and think about it 24/7!
One thing I would tell you to do is be very clear with your p.s, he's no mind reader, express your expectations even if they sound crazy, day of surgery, remind him again lol
I say that because I had a slim tag next to my nipple, that I asked him to remove during consultation and I didn't remind him, Shoul Dnt have too right? We'll guess what? He forgot!! I then had to go back and he removed smh
But ultimately, you'll be fine, this is a new and wonderful thing you are doing for you, well deserved and even tho you'll go thru some feelings, keep in mind, it's temporary and the reward is so worth It! ❤

Thank you! I am so excited! Great...I am going to have 20 pages of lists by the time my surgery rolls around...lol!! That's a great idea about reminding the surgeon. They are busy peeps! Yes I will be fine! I feel like I am mentally prepared for recovery and know I will have some different feeling but you are right! This is for me and I deserve it!! Your results are amazing! I feel like I have the same tummy so I can't wait to see a flat stomach!!

March 2, 2018
Thank you! I am going to read through your posts but I did a quick look at your pics! You look amazing!! Wow! I can't wait....I had no idea that other people were hiding these rolls and skin on their tummy like me! lol My PS said I am a perfect candidate as mine is below my bb and said I will have a very flat tummy....I can't even imagine! EEK! Pre-op is Wednesday!
March 2, 2018
Wow! You look amazing! I just made it through your reviews! I loved reading them!! I copied a bunch or recipes! I always love new clean eating meals. I am amazed by how great you look! I know I saw this in there but can't remember. What waist trainer did you get and when did you start using it? and the tape you are talking about you used on your scar? Was it a special kind of kinesiology tape? Your scar looks fantastic! I am thinking of doing your 3 day surgery prep. Seems like a good idea to clean yourself out. Thanks for all the tips! 2.5 weeks away for me!

13 days and counting!!

I had my pre-op appointment yesterday. I was so nervous/anxious going in. I am so glad I had that appointment! The PS chatted with me and then the nurse. Put me at complete ease and answered all my questions. I am very confident I picked the right surgeon for me! Now I can’t wait to lose this overhang and have my BL! Heading on vacay Saturday for 6 days so hoping that keeps my mind occupied!

I had my Pre-Op on Tuesday (6th) and I will be having my mommy makeover on Friday the 16th. I am going to be a couple of days ahead of you. I am having a full TT, Flank lipo, boob lift with a slight reduction (going with a Benelli or donut lift). I would be lying if I said I wasn't swinging between terrified and super excited! My PS made me super comfortable answered questions, some of them twice! LOL! Nice to know there is someone along the journey with me! My big dilemma is what underwear do I wear that won't hurt? I usually wear a thong but just don't think that's going to work! LOL Have you thought of that yet?
March 8, 2018
Lol! Yes I have swung between the two myself! Honestly I don't wear underwear now so I am just planning on not wearing any. I have an over sized sleep shirt that buttons in the front and is really soft. I will just slip into that. I am going to put a soft sheet over my recliner and hunker in....for 2 L O N G W E E K S...:) According to my PS they want me to lay low for 1 week nothing. 2 weeks ideal. I figure boredom is eventually going to kill me but have all sorts of things planned to entertain me. How much time are you taking off?
March 8, 2018
I have the luxury of working 'remote' from home so I am having my surgery on Friday (expected 7 hours). I will be knocked out much of Saturday (I HOPE!) Sunday will be terrible more than likely, and I am pretty sure by Monday if I need to respond to something or answer an email I can do that. I had 2 c sections, gall bladder removed old school style, so my boss is super cool and told me to just do what I could do when I could do it and not sweat it since I work so much extra anyway. If I don't feel like doing something I won't, but thank goodness I can if I feel like it. I just read on another post that wiping your behind after the bathroom business is a problem...lol. OMG. We must be crazy. LOL!
March 8, 2018
ha! yes I think I am crazy some days. my sister in law is a nurse and is staying the first 3-5 days. then I have 2 sisters lined up and then 2 girlfriends that are like sisters. I assume they will all wipe my ass if needed! lol!! I feel we have to find a little humor right? I am doing this for me...:). I have wanted it for years and years. there is nothing wrong with us doing this for ourselves! we deserve it!:). I can’t wait to see the flat side. I try and try to imagine. My PS said I will have a very flat tummy. I can’t even imagine! I found a walker on Craigslist and am borrowing a recliner. you have one week left! Can’t wait to see your results!
March 8, 2018
I have seen several people post about a raised toilet seat. Ours is already the higher one on the market and I have the wall and the shower knee wall so hoping I don't regret not getting one. I didn't think about the walker...eeeeek! One week!
March 9, 2018
I don’t have one but am seriously contemplating the gogirl. ha! I have read a couple of reviews that women said it was a life saver!
March 9, 2018
I had my boys by C-section(belly button down so all muscles cut) and my gall bladder out by an incision across my tummy) and didn't have one, but if I need one I am sure my bf will be burning up the road to go get one! Lol! One week from today!!!

Thank you! What compression garments did you use? Did you find the ones that hook easier to get on or the ones that pull up? I can't figure out which ones to get! I have seen a ton of people say Bonito garments but my ps said any would work. Target, kohl's.
