Ok, sooo I am 36. 5'9 and weigh 152 pounds and wear a small or size 5.
I have a 16 year old, a 17 year old and a set of twin boys who are 13. I got heart failure due to the pregnancy, gained a ton of weight, then had surgery and lost over 130 pounds. That's when I found a lump in my right breast then the mamogram found 3. Needless to say I had surgery to have them removed even after being told they were nothing....fibroadenomas. (My doc said no I want them removed anyway) unfortunately it ended up being cancer and I was diagnosed on April 4, 2016 at the age of 35. I then had a double masectomy on June 15, 2016.
What a ride...at the moment I have expanders in and wasn't planning on my expander to implant surgery until late October maybe early november so I decided I also wanted a tummy tuck with Mr.....i figured I have wanted this for years after the twins so now that I have had all this surgery im ready.
Long story short they were going 2 do my tt with mr during my exchange surgery. Well just my luck lol my left expander is leaking so my surgeon decided to move everything up....to THIS WEEK???? August 26th (friday) so I'm now looking for as much info and help as possible from someone who has had a tt with Mr. What is it like? What do I need to buy.....your experience and advice would greatly be appreciated?
I attached some pics...its hard to tell from these pics that im very thin but I am also curious if I should be getting liposuction?

Expander to implant and Abdominal plasty

My breast exchange went well. My right implant I feel is still under my arm too much but I was told it would move? My surgeon I thought did what we discussed for my tummy tuck... until I took my binder off. She did a good job but the scar placement was completely devastating to see. It's way too high and I was told nothing so when I seen it I was in shock to say the least...there is no way I could hide this.....pants wouldn't cover this???????? I could cry...

My heart goes out to you, I'm actually in tears. You've been through so much and now this awful TT scar placement is so devastating to me that I dread to think how you feel. Surely this should never have happened and I think you should seek legal advice as she clearly doesn't give a toss about her patients well-being. I'm so sorry this happened to you, you deserve so much better. I've had and still have a lot of health problems and am actually going for a consultation tomorrow as I would like a TT and BA/BL with implants but I don't have much luck and I can see me ending up in a worst state than you. Fingers crossed my research pays off and I've not missed anything bad in the Dr's history.

Try to stay positive as it's all too easy to slip down into depression. Your belly is now flat at least. OK so you probably won't want to don a bikini but at least you can wear all the tight clothes you didn't want to before and you'll look damn fine in jeans without spillage over the waistband! I wish there was something I could do to help you.

I hope you heal well from all this and I'm sending you hugs and positive vibes from the UK. Feel free to message me anytime x

Thank you. I'm having a very hard time with this....some days are better then others but she told me if she cut me any lower it would have been in my pubic region? Which is where it's supposed to be....then she says well all your lymph nodes and lymphatic system is there and she can't do that, then it was i had a lot of skin due to weight loss that's why....i have heard so many excuses now it's almost unbelievable. She gets very upset and doesn't want to admit to anything....im 10 days post and my skin under my incision is starting to hang? I could take a picture....i can grab a hand full. Then she says in 4 months she will give me lipo because my upper abdomen has a lump Which she said was fat and my lower abdomin.....which I'm not sure why she did not do this while in surgery? I even paid a thousand over what I was supposed to for a cushion incase I did need lipo. Now I need another surgery.....im starting to feel like this is all about money to her and how she can ensure more surgeries. I'm so tired of it all....im have been through hell so if she thinks she's getting anything else from me she's kidding herself. I still have to have nipples made and i will be looking for another surgeon because I no longer feel I can trust her.

I wonder if you ever had a revision. I just stumbled on this when I was researching having dog ears from tummy tuck fixed. That's insane that she tried to tell you any lower would have been damaging, when basically every tummy tuck ever done has been much lower than that, what a quack I'm so sorry you had to go through that and then be dismissed by the surgeon in that way. Even admitting she had messed up would have been so much better. Hopefully you're doing well these days!
