Tummy Tuck/ Removal of Excess Skin/ Muscle Repair

WORTH IT$9,500
I had lost a lot of weight and wanted the excess skin removed. He said my scar line would be below the bikini line and he would pull abdominal muscles back together from the damage of child bearing. What he did do is raise my pubic hair line four inches, my belly button two inches too high, left me with numerous indentations and unevenness, dog ears and excessive scarring and tissue, left the JP Drains in for weeks leaving me a ton of scarring and unevenness in pubic hair area from it, I have a frog looking belly that is flat below belly button and bulges above it. He only saw two times within two weeks and refuses to have me come back for follow up care even though I was in extreme pain (turns out he left two holes in my muscles). I had an infection just a week after surgery; strong foul odor-yellow brown thick mucus coming out of JP Drains and it was not until I had a 104 fever while on 1000mg of tylenol that he finally wrote me a prescription and has refused to see me afterwards for any complications or follow up. I never got to see my before and after photos. My JP Drains started to break after the second week in but he said that was okay. When they removed them I almost passed out and did black out and had to hold onto the counter because they had me stand. I could feel it pulling and ripping inside me. He put me on a scar cream for a year that deteriorated my skin that was only supposed to be used for a month. They told me to keep it a secret that they were providing a 10% discount because were are military and then I saw it advertised online and on the radio. I weighed 229lbs after surgery and I am 5' 4" and he put me in a XL compression garment and binder, it was so tight I could not even urinate with them on and had difficulty breathing. I asked him about via phone and also at my post op appt and he said it was fine. It took all the strength my husband had to pull it on and secure it. What 229 pound female at 5'4" wears a XL? I called several times that I was in so much pain, called for my follow ups, he refuses to see me even though the $9500 was suppose to include all the follow up care for a year or greater (and my garments which they did charge me for, they were suppose to give me new ones when I lost more weight). CT confirms hernias that were never there prior to surgery. Sure, I am skinner now, but look ugly and God only knows how I will ever afford the correction. All to have excess skin removed :( that was all I wanted, just removed the excess skin :( Most of his staff is wonderful, that is till they realize he royally messed up someones body.

I am very surprised at your comments. My surgery was flawless from the time I booked my initial consult until after my postop. I have since recommended several patients to Dr. Ambay and all of them have had the same great experience as myself. You must have the wrong plastic surgeon. Dr. Ambay seen me everytime I came to the office pre and post surgery.

Doctor Raj Ambay was really nice and did amazing work. Very clean environment and exam rooms. Good at explaining the full surgical procedures and post operative recovery. His staff is very supportive minus one nurse (he was out of the country at the time which I was advised of prior) who pulled out my jp drains while I was standing there, almost passed out, other than that he did an great job in closing my post pregnancy abdominal gap
