36 Yr. Old - Filler for Under Eye Hollows & Dark Circles. Wellesley, MA

ORIGINAL POST

I was very nervous about getting filler injections...

WORTH IT$1,250
I was very nervous about getting filler injections for the first time, but there was no eye cream or concealer that could improve my situation. I sought out Dr. Kapadia because he is an oculoplastic surgeon, got great reviews and offered a free consultation. He was very kind/informative, as was his staff. I stressed to him that I wanted it to look natural and not over-filled. He assured me of his conservative approach and that my results would look super natural & refreshed-looking.

I ate fresh pineapple (contains bromelain enzyme that helps prevent bruising, redness & swelling) and took Arnica (3-4 pellets 4x/day) the week leading up to my appointment. The procedure itself was literally painless (I was shocked)! He applied a numbing cream and that was it. I definitely had visible swelling for about 3-4 days, but luckily NO bruising. It really has made such a big difference. I don't feel/look so tired and old anymore! I'm definitely very happy and would highly recommend Dr. Kapadia!

I have same problem. What did he use and the cost please? I'm in Boston area too.
He used restalyne which is the best for under eyes. I believe he used 2 vials on me and it was $1250. That may seem like a lot but this filler is supposed to last for a year or longer. Definitely worth it!!!
Def worth it !!! I did same procedure with him 9 months ago. I still look like I did the day of tx . I may not even need another tx at my 1 yr mark .
I'm getting this done after having my eyes for the last 20 years. I'm pretty nervous. Does it hurt? How was the swelling?
wow, looks so good! I'm wanting to try it, but nervous of having black eyes!
I think if you take the proper precautions, like taking the arnica, eating pineapple, avoid blood thinners, I've heard even caffeine the week before, that's supposed to help tremendously...but everybody is different. It also depends on the Doctor and his method of injecting...Dr. Kapadia focuses on the eyes all day long so he def knows what he's doing!
Hi! I did it today! Apparently I have more of an issue with fat pads, so I only had less than 1/2 syringe between both eyes. my results are not as dramatic as yours, but I took the arnica and ate pineapple 4 days prior. So far so good!
thats's awesome!!!
Doesn't hurt at all, at least for me it didn't. The numbing cream really helps. You may feel a little pressure but that's it. I did it on a Friday evening so, I didn't leave the house Saturday & Sunday...it was totally down by Tuesday.
Awesome, thank you for the reassurance!!! I love to see people have positive experiences with this!!!
Was the swelling even noticeable to anyone else?
The first 3 days, yes. But by day 4, no.
In hoping my fiance won't notice, lol.
Thank you I've been trying to find out if this is best option or Voluma for cheeks as that's supposed to inadvertently help under eyes too. Guess a consultation would be best so he can determine.
Ive done this too and it was such a difference! !! Love it
Did he use a micro cannula needle or just regular one? You supposed to get less bruising with the microcannula. My doctor used a regular needle and I did have some bruising but it wasn't horrible but it lasted a long time. It went from the red purple bruising for just a couple of days to the ugly yellow Golden color for maybe 2 weeks
