I started to notice my under eye bags a lot more and it really started to bother me. I made a consultation appointment with Dr. Kapadia and we booked the surgery a couple weeks out. I decided on the upper and lower blepharoplasty even though originally only wanted the lower done. It took about 9 days to heal (swelling and bruising to subside ). Dr. Kapadia had said prior that I might need some fillers after if there was any hollowing . A few months after my surgery I was not totally happy but still had not done the fillers . I went back to see him and once I finally added the fillers I am beyond happy with my results ! I'm so happy that I decided to do this procedure and so happy I chose Dr. Kapadia.

Your eyes looks BEAUTIFUL after surgery and You look at least 10 years younger after the surgery!!!! Thank you for sharing your story and pictures!
May I ask what did you do for under eyes?

Sorry so late of a reply ! I haven't logged into real self in so long . Thank you so very much !!! The under eyes .. my doctor removed the fat pads that were bulging . I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have .

What was the reason you needed to get fillers after upper and lower Blepharoplasty?? I'm having upper and lower on June 27 mostly due to hollow lower lids. I'm hoping I won't need fillers after. My doctor hadn't said that I will, but I was wondering how it still won't be hollow...? How did your doctor explain this need for filler??

Hi , I had no fat removed from the upper lids just the extra skin. My lower kids had extra fat that was puffed out so after that was removed I had some hollowing and then needed the filler to offset that . What are you having done on your lowers if you are already hollow ?

Removing skin that is droopy and crepe texture, repositioning fat pads and re-draping muscle to hold fat in its new position.

Oh ok. So with your reposition of fat pads that will take the place of the filler . That is why you won't need it. I had my fat pads completely removed .

Do you have any pics of after the surgery but before you got the filler?? I'm wondering now how my lowers are not gonna be hollow?? I'm not sure if I have any fat under my eyes because they have always been hollow. The way my doctor explained it was kinda like pulling the muscle up that has descended, causing the droopy stuff under my eyes. I'm just really scared... My surgery is in 12 days...

Yes it is probably waiting to be reviewed/approved by one of the site administrators. Usually only takes one day so should be approved by tomorrow. I look forward to seeing it!!

Wow you are so pretty!! Your results are great!! Very subtle, which is exactly what I'm hoping for!! Was the recovery bad?? Lots of bruising and swelling?? I only have 10 days that I can be off work. How long before you were able to go out in public??

Thank you so much ! I didn't tell many people and no one noticed at all. To me it was a drastic difference and at first I was regretting it but now I'm very happy. 10 days is plenty to be off work . I went out about 8 days after my surgery . I wish they would upload my video but I will post more pictures instead for you
